Holiday rentals near McNears Beach Country Park

Just returned from 4 nights here. The place was just as described. Lovely well maintained property, modern and very spacious. Fully equipped with everything we needed and more! The location was perfect for us - a short drive from the ferry port over the bay to the Ferry Building (30 mins / $9 - with clipper card which is close to Pier 39. Perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle but with great links. Also very locally is Sausalito and Muir woods - a must see if you’re staying in the area. Overall a perfect stay in a perfect property in a perfect location.

We had a great time staying a Thea’s home. The location is great for winding down after exploring San Francisco as it is in a lovely quiet area.Thea’s home is well equipped with everything we needed and the garden is lovely too.We felt really safe as it is in a great neighbourhood. There are several shops and supermarkets nearby which was an added bonus. We are really pleased we chose this accommodation and hope to return in the future.

The apartment has amazing views over the bay, you could see for miles and the views just kept changing every time you looked. We spent hours on the balcony and inside the apartment looking out of the huge glass windows, either with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The apartment was set up well for a self catering stay, it had everything you would need. We liked that Kris and Denny had lovely quality towels and linens. The town was about an 8 min. walk away down hill and a slightly tougher 10-15 min. walk back up the hill. There were plenty of places to get food also takeaways. There were 2 grocery stores in the town which sold most things you would need. If ever we are back in the area we will most definitely stay here and would recommend it to family and friends.
