Holiday rentals near Giant Forest Museum

We booked Rose Retreat not really knowing much about the area but wanting to be close to Sequoia Park. The accommodation was perfect so beautifully set up, immaculate and the hosts so helpful with a great location near to the park entrance We just wish we could have stayed longer

We fell in love with the yurt and this beautiful landscape. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the hosts had provided everything you could possibly need for a stay and more. The perfect base and location to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The only negative thing I can say is that we have to leave and can’t stay here forever. Highly recommend, we will hopefully be back here in the future!

The Shady Knoll was the perfect place for my family of 4. It has everything you need, and the views are incredible. We felt right at home, my 2 little boys enjoyed seeing the wild turkey and quails visit. It's close to everything, Sequoia & Kingdñs Canyon National Parks, and the shops. I would definitely recommend!!

Thank you Srey for making our time exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon so amazing. The pictures of the property do not do it justice - it was a real home away from home - and as for the views from the balcony, just stunning and the perfect backdrop to the end of a day’s hiking. Access to the parks was quick - it really is less than a mile up the road to the park entrance - enabling us to beat the rush to the main sights (essential in the summer months). At the end of our long days we were tired, so the very well equipped kitchen made it easy to eat in rather than having to go out. We had heeded Srey’s tip to do a grocery shop in Visalia before coming to Three Rivers as it was cheaper but still went to the Village Store for extras and found a good selection of groceries albeit slightly more expensive. The beds were very comfortable and the air con meant that the slightly unseasonably high temperatures did not disrupt our sleep. Over our two days, we managed to see both Sequoia and Kings Canyon - doing Sequoia on the Friday as at weekends many of the main sights are accessed via shuttle bus only. Both were stunning in different ways and we were glad we made the long drive all the way to the bottom of Kings Canyon. We had only three nights in Three Rivers as we were on a road trip round California but could easily have stayed another few days to explore the area in more detail. Overall, if you are considering coming to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon - do it, and if you do, make sure you stay at Srey’s lovely home.
