Peaceful and Luxurious Lakeside Vacation Spot

We have enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Retreat immensely. It is a fantastic destination to relax and serves as a perfect basecamp for adventures in the beautiful surroundings. The house is very spacious, very clean, and beautifully furnished. It comes with all the conveniences you can think of: a well-equipped kitchen, a gorgeous screened patio, a beautiful pool, an outdoor kitchen and shower, and many more perks. The backyard is breathtaking, with amazing plants and many lovely details. The property is connected to a deck on the canal/lake, where we enjoyed many evenings watching birds and turtles, and savoring the sunsets. Christian, the owner, was super friendly and responsive. He was truly determined to ensure that we had an amazing experience. We're looking forward to our next stay at the Lakeside Retreat!

A piece of paradise

Fabulous property with lots of added little bits to make stay feel like home. Use of boat is great to see wildlife and visit the island. Pool was lovely and very clean. Great communication with owners always helpful. When we come back to Florida will look to book again. Thanks to Kim and Brenda for this wonderful holiday home.

The Anclote River is an inlet from the Gulf

Peaceful stay

Betsy and Scott’s home on the Alcote River in Tarpon Springs, is a delight. Beautifully kept and a wonderful out look over the garden and dock. I loved whiling away a few hours in the Florida room especially first thing in the morning and the evenings. My husband enjoyed the dock for fishing and watching all the boats going in and out everyday, just as well as the fish weren’t too keen to bite! There is plenty to do and see in the area. Betsy was very friendly and helpful to deal with. Thank you for having us. We would recommend a visit.
