The house perfectly placed for exploring all of the coast between Salem and Cape Cod. The views of the ocean were wonderful - even with the waves lashing against the breakwater, the only barrier separating you from the water. The weather at Easter wasn't great (it was one of the wettest for years) but we enjoyed it just the same. Our only disappointment was that we weren't there for long enough to enjoy the house; it would have been lovely to spend the day just sitting reading and relaxing - particularly if the weather had been kind. The only thing that would have improved the house would have been the addition of a kettle - the English like their cups of tea! But, hey - water boils in a pan just as well. Seriously, if you want a secluded and comfortable property with unbeatable views, then this is the place for you.
