Holiday rentals near TD Garden

This was the first of 2 stays over a 3 week holiday. The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean and well fitted out. Eddie was always prompt and helpful with the couple of queries we had. No complaints at all.

The property was in a great location with easy access to transport & the main Boston tourist attractions. However, the studio we were put in was not the one shown online, although the floor plan was the same. The decor & furnishings of ours looked very inferior to the online photos. It also had not been cleaned to the standard we expected.

Takara and Will have put a lot of effort into making this place comfortable and stylish in a low key slightly boho sort of way. It’s spacious with lots of nice touches (thanks for the yoga mat) and it really is as nice as the photos suggest. A self contained flat on the downstairs of a large property containing the owners upstairs and tenants in another part of house. Had great chats with both Will and Takara who had great tips for things to do in the area and Boston more generally. Roxbury is the historic part of Boston with Victorian era buildings and lots of character and interesting cafes and restaurants reflecting the dynamic and diverse demographic. Some might find it a little rough around the edges, but it is undeniably an ‘emerging’ district and on the up. Not far from downtown, though nearest T station is a bus ride away. Uber and Lyft good options too. I loved it.

Jon and Karen are great hosts, very easy to communicate with and very quick. Jon spent time to explain how to get to and from the city and the best places to eat, which we did try out, and they were great. When I first looked at the location I was worried but there was no need as it is easy and quick to get to the attractions. We loved it as we could get to where we needed quick but when we wanted to get our heads down it was peaceful and quiet.

Terrific apartment and lovely people. Beautifully equipped fridge, total thoughtfulness and care given to us during our four day visit. Lou & Ikram a really warm couple. Could not praise them more highly.
