Holiday rentals near Panther Path Trail

My wife and I had a great stay. The hosts were fantastic and the 2BR apartment was very roomy and felt like a home away from home. We traveled each day to Big Bend N.P. for hiking, and ate dinner in town. We ate breakfast each morning at the Bad Rabbit Cafe, and it was excellent each day (can be a bit slow when crowded, but it's worth it). The hot tub was also a nice way to end a long day of hiking. My only comment is to be aware that it's about an hour drive to get to Big Bend hiking each day, including a 2 mile drive on a dirt road. Because of this, we went straight from hiking to dinner each night, rather than going back to the apartment to clean up. Every place to eat in town is super-casual, so it worked out fine that we went to dinner a bit trail worn and dusty.

The house exceeded our expectations. It was really well equipped but there was still lots of storage space for our things. Everything was comfortable. We enjoyed being able to relax in an incredibly peaceful environment. On clear nights the night sky was spectacular. It was a great place to stay.
