This house is solid, very tastefully appointed, 100% comfortable. I just wish I had wings; then I could enjoy that the house is only the width of a block from the water. But, if you like to walk to the beach, you have to go around 8 blocks to get there. Yes, the owners provide 2 golf carts for getting there, but, if your favorite thing is to stroll from the house in the morning straight to the beach, this is not quite the house. (No, cutting through other people’s property & breezeways not encouraged in Texas; also, a boggy, overgrown bit between cul de sacs should not be traversed barefoot … not on the Gulf Coast.
Otherwise, it was fantastically lovely and if you Like golf carts, this place will be perfect for you.
