We loved our stay at this property. The cottage had everything we needed and was perfectly situated with seating all around so you could always get a spot in the sun to enjoy the views and the wildlife (we especially loved the birds - we saw 47 different species just in one week in May - and the fireflies). In addition, the hosts are hospitable, helpful and generous - bringing us cake, sharing local knowledge and letting us roam all over their land. Getting to know them was a bonus to our trip! Such a beautiful cabin, from the immaculate construction to the all the amenities it comes with. Located with wonderful views all around, this place provides the serenity one would look for in a mountain retreat. Whether relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness or taking in the many activities located just a short trip away this place has it all. The owners go out of their way to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. From the fresh eggs from their chickens to the homemade muffins from Kathy, this place has all the little touches that can not be found in most places you rent. And for dog owners, this place is pet friendly with many acres for exercise and fun. This was our second trip there and will be returning soon. Thank you both for your hospitality.
