Located with wonderful views all around, this place provides the serenity one would look for in a mountain retreat. Whether relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness or taking in the many activities located just a short trip away this place has it all. The owners go out of their way to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. From the fresh eggs from their chickens to the homemade muffins from Kathy, this place has all the little touches that can not be found in most places you rent. And for dog owners, this place is pet friendly with many acres for exercise and fun. This was our second trip there and will be returning soon. Thank you both for your hospitality.

My husband and I came for a few days of biking, hiking, and fishing and found this charming cabin to be the perfect location - it is midway on the New River trail, so we could bike a long way in both directions. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the New River and we could see and access the New River biking trail right from the house. The lawn was well manicured and the house was very neat, spacious, and clean and had anything we needed as far as kitchen supplies, towels, sheets, etc. It was apparent that the owners gave great thought into making us feel comfortable and welcome and they were available within minutes if we had a question or needed anything. Everything about the house was updated, clean, and fresh. We are already planning our next trip :)
