This is a very modern, well equipped property. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with.We loved the outside eating area and pool, plus the fact that it was so tranquil and private. This was our first visit to Vaison and it is a great town. Lots of bars with terraces on the main square, great market and numerous restaurants at various price points all within walking distance.
A stunning properry in a stunning location. The villa is beautifully designed with a wonderful outdoor conservatory which acts as an indoor space and outdoor space, when you open up the glass walls. The villa comes fully equipped with everything you need - from appliances to cooking utensils and an outdoor barbeque area. The pool was clean and well maintained, as were the grounds of the property. The host was super helpful and always available to answer questions or offer advice. And let's not forget Loyd the dog - the most mild mannered and friendly dog you'll ever meet !!
Thank you for making us so welcome and for the use of your great property. It was so well positioned and convenient for our days out as well as restful days going no where.
We booed this house because it was wheelchair accessible and our daughter is in a wheelchair. It worked really well for us - it is very rare to find a house that is accessible and we were delighted at how well it worked - thank you very much!
The house is an ideal base for exploring Vaison-la-Romaine and the region - it was clean, comfortable, well-kitted out and very suitable for a family with young children; for example child-locks on the swimming pool gates was typical of the attention detail at the house.
The town centre was a convenient 10-15 minutes walk with plenty of cafes and restaurants for when cooking became a chore. The weekly farmer’s market is very poplar and a great source of local produce.
Exploring the region with its prehistoric caves, Roman sites, outlying medieval villages and castles, capped with trips to wine estates(!) proved well beyond the limitation of a single holiday!!
For the fitter in the family, cycling all three routes up Mount Ventoux earned bragging rights to an HC Tour-de-France leg.
The reason for the one lost star rating for the listing arose from an initial bit of confusion over the 4th bedroom in the English website’s translation of the original French website. This was rapidly and generously resolved by the host immediately on our arrival and didn’t have any impact on the holiday.
Overall, Les P’tites Pommes proved to be a terrific find that made the holiday - a bit of a gem really. A big thank you to David and Caroline.
Laure performed above and beyond the call of duty, helping us with the French side of the Covid regulations. The house itself is as well equipped and as clean as anywhere we've stayed. The bed we used was comfy and though we didn't have to use it, the aircon was a resssuring presence. The pool really is private, unlike many on here that are advertised as private but definitely aren't. Great little stay! Well pleased with this late find in our holiday preparations.
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Pennard with my parents and children (age 7 and 5). The house is beautiful and finished/ furnished to a very high standard. The range of different seating areas to eat/ lounge was fantastic and well thought out. The swimming pool is one the most beautiful, clean and well maintained pools i've ever used. It was plenty big enough for all 6 of us at once.
The location was wonderful. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful and a 20 minute pleasant walk into Vaison.
The owners live next door and were lovely, even bringing us fresh tomatoes from their garden!
I would certainly stay again as the house, pool and location were all perfect. In fact i wish i was back there now...
We had a wonderful week in Cairanne. All of us would return in a minute if we could.

The house and property were top notch. Madame Cid was close by and delightful. The location was convenient for day trips to Arles, Avignon, Gordes, Lourmarin, etc. but the smaller towns near Cairanne were the surprise - charming, great restaurants, superb wines. And very friendly people, best of all. I fell in love with France all over again. Really, why go anywhere else?
