Volterra villas

We had a lovely stay at this Tuscan villa. The villa was well set out, with everything we needed. The views of the surrounding hills and vineyards were beautiful, especially at sunset. It was a peaceful spot with easy access to nearby towns, and our host was friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed our stay in this villa so much! The house is very comfortable with very spacious living room, big, fully equipped kitchen and 4 bedrooms downstairs. We had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The swimming pool was the best one we’ve ever had. Nicoletta was very helpful and kind, she provided us with all the practical information.

Very nice villa with lovely pool and views. Only a short drive from Volterra which is a really nice town and friendly people.

A lovely comfortable house with plenty of space for our family group of 10 across the 5 bedrooms. The outside table and relaxing loungers were perfect for socialising and sharing meals together and offered shade and amazing views . The pool area is also excellent with a beautiful salt water swimming pool, loungers and umbrellas offering welcome shade . Paola and Valerio were excellent hosts , always available but never intrusive. We would strongly recommend taking up the offer of meals by the hosts .They were really delicious , extremely convenient and we all enjoyed them very much.

Everything we wanted. Period. First, the hosts - online and locally - were consistently responsive, kind and helpful. Lots of suggestions when we asked and quick with anything requested. Second, the house is very easy to be inside together because the bedrooms are spaced far apart and there are multiple indoor social areas — and the grounds offer a lot of options to relax and to be active, as you prefer. The seating area can easily accommodate 12 and the height of the ceiling and openness of the layout make it feel spacious. The fireplace is lovely, the availability of two separate living rooms gives flexibility, and the chairs outdoors make it even more appealing for a larger group. The outdoor options included plenty to keep our kids off screens. Depending on what you enjoy, you can enjoy the more or less polished aspects of the outdoor environment. (It’s not overly refined - it retains the natural aspect of being embedded in the physical environment - thank goodness!!). You have many options of things to do with tennis, pool, or jacuzzi. The pool and jacuzzi are well maintained and clean - lovely ways to be in the natural environment in comfort. We read reviews that said you get more than you realize from the site and the photos. This is true. If what you see here meets your needs, it is going to be wonderful. Just book it. We’ll be recommending to our family and friends to join us here on our next visit to Tuscany. A+++

An amazing villa in a beautiful location. Dario and Vera, the lovely owners, could not have been more helpful. All the bedrooms are en suite the ground floor bedroom is suitable for a wheelchair user. The villa is well located, only an hours drive from Pisa airport and only 15 mins drive from Volterra which has several good supermarkets, shops, restaurants etc. We would thoroughly recommend using 'Tuscan Mummies' who cooked for us twice during our stay and the food was delicious! We would also recommend a trip up the hill for pizza at Borgo Della Speranza restaurant.
