Outstanding villa with stunning views of the gently rolling hills of Tuscany which surround the property. It has all the amenities you could ask for to feel at home. The pool was amazingly refreshing during an extremely hot spell! I’d highly recommend a stay here. It’s in an excellent location to explore Tuscany!

The farmhouse is spacious and comfortable (air conditioning and swimming pool were essential in the record heatwave) and easily accommodated our extended family of 13. The view of the Tuscan landscape was stunning as well. The criticism was a matter of maintenance and cleanliness. The grounds were not groomed (a field of weeds) and the house was not as clean as I would expect (there was actually a nest of ants in a rug in the living room and when we went to vacuum them up the vacuum cleaner was filthy and completely packed full of dirt and needed a thorough cleaning to be made operational, The laundry room had clearly not even been swept. Having said that, I would recommend this property for its location and size but would also recommend that when you negotiate to rent the house that you make sure that the house will be thoroughly cleaned after the prior.guests have departed. Also verify that the house will be ready on your agreed upon arrival time .In spite of the issues we had a wonderful time with our family and thoroughly enjoyed Vollterra and our wonderful Italian holiday!

Thank you for your review. I am so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. I was surprised to learn that you did not find the house to be as clean as you would have expected. We pay for a thorough clean before each guest arrives and this was therefore not to the standard I would have expected. Goed geoutilleerd, alle voorzieningen aanwezig.Eén paar kleine aandachtspunten, heb de eigenaar hiervan al op de hoogte gesteld.Prachtig familie huis , hebben genotenWel 25 minuten rijden naar Volterra.
