A refuge in the mountain

Traditional mountain house, located in a natural environment. It is a full rental accommodation with capacity for up to 6 people. It has 3 rooms with double bed and 2 shared bathrooms. It has a kitchen, living room with fireplace and garden furniture.
An eco-tourism village with environmental commitment: we take care of the natural environment, we use only photovoltaic solar energy and products of natural and ecological origin.
Located next to the Oitavén river, in the exceptional landscape of the "Carballeira de Xesta", the largest Atlantic forest -carballeira- of the interior of Pontevedra. There are different paths where you can walk and feel the silence of the forest.
The village is 30 km from Pontevedra, one of the most beautiful and best preserved cities in Galicia. Here you can make guided visits to know its history and architecture or visit the museum of Pontevedra (
It belongs to the region of Pontevedra in the Rías Baixas, We recommend in the interior the archaeological visits and the hiking routes through forests and mountains with impressive viewpoints towards the Atlantic coast.

Idyllic house in the mountains

We stayed in the house with 2 adults and 3 kids for 10 days and had a lovely time. The hosts are very nice and helpful. The location of the house is awesome, with fun hiking trails along the river and through the woods right at the front door. The kids especially loved to visit the donkeys twice a day.
