We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated Ales’ hospitality. The house is minutes away by car from old town Ljubljana. It is also centrally located to many of Slovenia’s attractions, including Lake Bled, Vintgar Gorge, Postojna Cave, and Predjama Castle.Ales was very communicative and supplied us with some food and drinks at the beginning of our stay. We really appreciated the warm croissants he gave us one morning.I recommend the property and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

An excellent apartment with plenty of space, comfortable beds and sofas, and all you need for a stay in this lovely city. Our host was superb - generous with both provisions and his time - and our holiday experience was enhanced by our stay here. Public transport is good and the city centre a short bus ride away. Highly recommended.

Our host Aleș couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The apartment was lovely and had everything we could have possibly used. Any request or question was answered instantly. He even let us stay late on checkout day, and came out to say goodbye! We feel like we were very welcome. Highly recommend this place!!

Everything was perfect!

We spent 4 nights in Ljubljana and loved it. The accommodations were exceptional, we had everything we could hope for and Ales was most helpful., if we needed any assistance. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped,. We parked our car at the apartment and got around walking or by taxi, it was perfect. The location was excellent , it was a quiet neighborhood and close to a park, grocery store and a few restaurants. We loved Slovenia and would definitely stay again at Vila Marija!

Lovely spacious apartment with great hosting from Ales. Parking for car was very convenient with easy access out to Bled and all the other beautiful areas. We used Uber for trips into town at about 5 Euros. Lubljana is a great city, organised but laid-back, easy to walk around and cheaper than the UK.Thoroughly recommended!

Nous avons séjourné chez Ales fin mai 2026 et tout a été parfait. Le logement est propre, tres bien équipé, proche de l'arrêt de bus et du centre ville de Ljubjana. Ales a été aux petits soins et nous a donné de bonnes recomendations. Je conseille ce logement les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus.

The best experience in Ljubljana

Stayed at the apartment a couple of nights while in Ljubljana and it was perfect. It is located in a quiet neighborhood about 15 minutes by car to the center of town. The apartment was very well equipped, it had everything you would need. And Ales, the host, was very accommodating and helpful. Overall it was really a fantastic experience, making us wish we were staying longer, but we will surely come back to this apartment when we are back in Ljubljana.
