It is perfect for those who enjoy walking with access on foot from the cottage onto The "Cumbrian Way" and a wealth of fantastic walks available locally in the surrounding area.

For wildlife lovers and those with a passion for the great outdoors, the area is a vast playground with picturesque tarns and stunning views just waiting to be discovered. Lowick Common is a particular highlight with over a thousand acres of stunning scenery where you can spot toads, badgers, deer and herons.

If you are looking for a holiday in the Lake District without too many tourists and sophisticated well equipped holiday accommodation then Coal Yeat is for you. This stylish holiday homes has been imaginatively designed with open-plan living to ensure your holiday is relaxing and memorable.

Yan is a luxury holiday cottage located high up on Lowick Common near Coniston offering the most stunning, uninterrupted views overlooking the Lakeland mountains and surrounding Lake District National Park countryside. It is a magical place set within in 25 acres of our own pasture land, with visitors commenting it's the most serene, rejuvenating and uplifting place to stay.

Enjoy total isolation, yet be less than four miles or ten minutes drive from the full amenities of the popular market town of Ulverston and within 30 mins drive , of all the South Lakes has to offer.

The highlight of 'Yan' and is the uninterrupted, breathtaking outlook over the much loved Lakeland fells.

'Yan occupies the ground floor and offers a spacious lounge area with deep sofas where you can relax and enjoy watching TV, a DVD, or just listen to the sound of the birds . An island provides a stylish feature as you go into the kitchen with solid wood cabinets beautifully topped with granite, providing a wonderful space to cook with dishwasher, electric oven/hob, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dining table.

The master bedroom is beautifully presented with contemporary furnishings and benefits from a dual aspect, wardrobe for clothes storage and an en-suite bathroom including large shower bath, heated towel rail, WC, wash basin and storage cupboards. There is also a further double bedroom and bunk bedroom (full adult size beds) which both share a shower room with heated towel rail and WC.

Outside: Guests can enjoy a private garden which is walled or relax on the bbq veranda directly outside.

Yan is the lower half of the barn conversion and there is potential for noise. There are three other holiday properties on the estate
