Good setting for exploring the lakes. Well equipped kitchen. Parking provided. A couple of niggles would be that it said we had to go to reception to check in but we didn’t. Then it wasn’t easy to find the lodge - had to go back to reception for a map. Also the oven didn’t seem to work and there were no instructions about the heating as it seemed to be on a timer but it didn’t say anywhere when it came on.

This is a lovely property and a lovely host. It's a shame there isn't a dishwasher. The outdoor decking area could do with an upgrade as some of the railings are now unsafe. We love the lodge though. Thank you Penny for another lovely stay.

Thank you for your kind review and for returning to the lodge. I’m pleased you enjoyed your stay. If anything ever needs attention, reporting it during your visit is really important, as it allows me the opportunity to resolve issues as soon as I possibly can. The unsafe decking post and railings have since been replaced, and additional works are underway.I truly appreciate your feedback and your continued stays.
