Perfect location for a family vacation

From the pick up process to the end this was a wonderful location for a week in Nice. Close to the beach and everything you might need. AC was very welcome during the high temperatures.

Lovely apartment

We really enjoyed the apartment. The only donwside is that one of the toilet cannot flush toilet paper which is a bit inconvenience and that the apartment was on the 4th floor without elevator.

Ironman WC

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay during Ironman week that would give the athlete in our family a comfortable place to stay. Legend did not disappoint. We were close to all the event venues and the market was very convenient as well. Thank you, Elena for accomodating our unavoidable late arrival (due to a mechanical issue on our airplane) and for being so helpful upon our arrival!

Location location location in Nice

Everything was great. We loved the location. Great space. It was walking distance to old town. 3 min walk to beach. Neighborhood. Street parking can be tough but we got lucky in finding a spot. The AC worked great for those hot summer nights. The apartment could have used a beach umbrella for the guest to use. Be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs with your luggage. Apartment as described. It would have been a nice touch to have the host left a little welcome treat upon arrival as it makes it have a more personal touch. Property was responsive

Sunlight Properties LEGEND: 2

Overall the Legend was a good experience. It was very much as advertised the owner/agent (Elana) was very very accomodating allowing us early access (at noon) She gave us excellent references to a couple great restaurants and easy to follow directions to numerous tourist sites. The location is good with easy access to multiple stores, restaurants, beach and about 20 min walk to the train station or Vieux Nice. The unit is well decorated and equipped. The unit was very much as advertised with some minor annoyances that need to be addressed or advised to bump it to a 5 star. Such as; Hot water is provided by an instant hot that has very limited duration (could never take more than a 2-3 minute shower) and challenging for 4 occupants. The A/C is very temperamental. Most times it worked great, other times the units (3) would shut down randomly and need to be reset manually; main bathroom is an add on and you cannot use toilet paper in and could use a better vent fan. A short term issue that we managed, but needs to be addressed is the bed in the master bedroom. While it appears to be newer, and has a good mattress, the supporting slats are damaged resulting in the the collapsing frequently upon entering it from the window side. Great care and caution were needed to manage thru this situation and I am confident that the owners will resolve this. Again overall, good experience and great value for the money

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Legend. We are pleased to hear that overall, you had a good experience and found the property to be as advertised. We're delighted that Elena could accommodate your early check-in and provide helpful recommendations for restaurants and tourist sites. We appreciate your positive comments about the location, decor, and equipment of the unit. However, we are sorry to hear about the minor annoyances you encountered during your stay. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the hot water system, the temperamental A/C units, and the issues with the main bathroom and the bed in the master bedroom. We value your feedback and want to assure you that we are addressing these issues promptly to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide an even better experience.

Immer wieder...

Dear Larissa, thank you so much for taking the time to review and recommend our Legend apartment. We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay there, the super central location and the fair price. You're right - it really is the ideal neighbourhood to enjoy Nice in the summer. As for the clean, we wish you had mentioned this before, as all our cleans are guaranteed. Whilst our agents always do their very best to match our high standards, of course, mishaps can happen in the height of our "busy season". In this case, they know that they are to come back and ensure it is perfect. So please do make sure to let us know immediately, next time, if you find that anything is missing. In the meantime, your feedback has been communicated to them - and extra attention will be paid to the kitchen. We thank you again for being wonderful guests and look forward to your next visit!
