Unfortunately, two of the main reasons we chose this property over considerably cheaper alternatives were not as advertised. Most importantly, the claimed “1 minute walk” is simply not accurate. Google Maps shows around 16 minutes. We found a quicker route and managed it in approximately 11 minutes at a reasonable pace, but that is still a huge difference from one minute. The listing also shows an image suggesting the property is much closer than it actually is.This mattered to me as I have back problems and specifically paid more to be extremely close to the venue so I could easily return during the day. Adding 20 minutes to each round trip made a significant difference. The property is also advertised and photographed as having a bath, but the plug mechanism didn’t work, meaning it wouldn’t hold water and couldn’t actually be used as a bath. I messaged during our stay asking if there was a trick to getting it to work but received no response. Finally, the mattress in my room dipped substantially in the middle and felt worn out or broken rather than simply uncomfortable, which unfortunately aggravated my back further. The property itself was otherwise fine, but the inaccurate distance and unusable bath were particularly disappointing as these were key reasons we chose to pay more for this accommodation.
