Great, spacious house and perfect for a large group. The beach access was so convenient and easy. And the downstairs game area was a big hit.

The house was very clean and I was impressed that there was not a speck of dust or hair anywhere. The furniture was beautiful and it was perfect for our occasion of having a family vacation. The beach is very close to the house and the water was very calm and safe. I would rent again in the future. Thank you for letting us stay.

This is one of my favorite houses that I have stayed in. Everything was clean and there is plenty of room to spread out. The downstairs play area was a big bonus for the younger ones that were with us. I would highly recommend Harrisons Hideaway. We will be back.

Beautiful home

Wonderful home minutes walk to the beach. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Loved it!

The house was in great condition and had everything we needed for a family beach trip.

We enjoyed a long weekend with kids and grandchildren over spring break. The home is beautiful and comfortable with a fun outdoor area for all to hang out.

The house is exactly as pictured and location great to walk to beach. Our family had a great time in the outdoor area. We had 2 issues that were dealt with immediately even on a Saturday. Would recommend for large groups

Great Tybee Home

The property was exactly as advertised. Kitchen was well equipped for serving and cooking. The location is close to beach and lighthouse and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It is decorated beautifully and the layout is perfect for our family. Every year we rent Tybee for my brothers family and ours and this was the best yet. Loved it from the firepit to the hot tub to the screened in porches. Very comfortable and clean.

Great place to stay for an extended family!

I stayed at Harrison's Hideaway with my siblings and their families. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is tucked in a residential area but close to everything. Unfortunately for the weather, the driveway and stairs were completely iced over, so we had to clear off what we could for the safety of our older family members. We also had to check in one day late, also due to weather delays.

Bring everything from home

Beautiful home in good location. No extra provisions left for guests. Be prepared with soap, paper towels, toilet paper and everything you will need in the kitchen. We have rented dozens of homes on VRBO and this one was the most expensive and the least stocked. Also had some issues with cleanliness including the cooktop and dusting .

One of the nicest!!

Three generations and two four-legged friends loved this property! The home is beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. The walk to the beach is super easy and we were also able to walk to many shops and restaurants. While we could have walked to the lighthouse we ended up driving there due to threat of a passing rain shower. While at the beach we got to see many cargo ships passing by as well as a kite surfing lesson taking place. Our dogs loved the fenced yard to run around in while the rest of the family soaked in the hot tub or played a round of ping pong. The kitchen has everything you need….seriously it had everything! I’ve never had a better stocked home in all my many years of vacationing. We would definitely rent this home again and will recommend to friends and family.

50th Anniversary Vacation

We had a great time at this property on Tybee Island. The house was spacious and comfortable for our group of 10. We all had a great time playing ping pong and using the hot tub. The beach by the house was really nice for our younger kids. It was so calm, they could swim in the water without getting knocked down by waves.

Relaxing weekend

We enjoyed staying at Harrison’s hideaway for the second year in a row. Short walk to the beach and short drive to Savannah. Lots of activities to do while there.

Great stay, lovely house. Only down side with Tybee Island is parking fees. $7 a pop for 2 hrs.

House was great. Had issue with upstairs Ac when we arrived but maintenance came out and resolved issues.

It also has free onsite parking available for up four cars onsite. Public beach access points and parking lots are controlled by the City of Tybee and are pay to park areas.

This property was amazing. Can't beat how close it is to the beach either. The only downfall was that the elevator wasn't working and that was one of the reasons we chose it (uncle had to be practically carried up the stairs).

Best Family Reunion Locatiion!

We couldn’t have asked for a better home!! There were 9 of us.... plus a baby. We used the fire pit, ping pong table, jacuzzi, played games... sunset walks on the beach, & just sitting on the rocking chair porch! Harrison’s Hideaway was so clean, we’ll furnished, & provided space for everyone. Will definitely come back!

May 2019 Stay

This was a family vacation and there was plenty of rooms and bathrooms! Everything was fresh, clean, and very comfortable. I cannot think of a single thing to complain about. It will be hard to find another property that lives up to the standards of Harrison’s Hideaway.
