The Hussey House is a great place to stay in Tybee. It has easy beach access and was just the right fit for our family of 8 adults and 4 children. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to Tybee someday.

This property is located perfectly to enjoy Tybee restaurants and beach! Awesome front porch to relax! The only issue is that neither of the two refrigerators had working ice makers. Had a wonderful time here!

The property was very nice, clean and within walking distance of the beach. The porch was wonderful, and we spent every evening enjoying it. There is also an outdoor refrigerator, which was convenient for keeping drinks and extra items cold.A few tips for future guests: We wish blankets had been provided, especially since it cooled off in the evenings. If you’re traveling with a group, keep in mind that everyone has different temperature preferences, so you may want to bring your own blankets. Pillows were provided, too, but bringing your own might be worthwhile depending on your comfort preferences.The kitchen was fully stocked, but it was difficult to find things because nothing was labeled. We also couldn’t locate the Keurig for morning coffee. Bathroom towels were stored under the sink rather than in the linen closet, which was a little confusing, and those areas weren’t labeled either. A few toiletries, such as soap and shampoo, were available, in travel sizes and limited quantity so I recommend bringing your own.Also, be prepared to climb stairs when bringing in luggage, groceries and other belongings. There were beach supplies downstairs that we didn’t discover until later, so take some time when you arrive to look around and familiarize yourself with where everything is.Overall, we enjoyed the property and its location. With a little exploring when you first arrive — and a few items packed from home — you’ll be ready to settle in and enjoy your stay!

We come nearly every year to Tybee for the Irish Heritage parade and festivities. This was the best house we’ve visited. Very comfortable home. Very responsive hosts. As a military family ourselves, we loved seeing the portraits in uniform on the fridge. One thing to mention, we couldn’t get the carafe side of the Keurig to work. The cup side worked fine. Thank you for welcoming us to your home and I hope we’re able to visit again next year!

What an amazing week we had at the Hussey House. Walking to beach each day was a breeze. We felt we loved the mid beach area for enjoying a relaxing vacation. The house was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for our group, I really don’t think there was one complaint. The AC worked perfect upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen had everything you would need to take care of a big group. There was an extra fridge on the deck. Plenty of room for food and other beverages.The property managers took care of everything. Trevon was our contact, and was always available. We would recommend this property, and hope to use it again next year!!!
