We have stayed in the property many times and always enjoy it. Lots of walks around especially if you have a dog. The host is very helpful when booking the house. With 4 bedrooms it houses 2 families with kids and dogs, a lovely garden as a bonus.
We have stayed at the cottage many times. It is a lovely peaceful location, with a wonderful garden and various walks from the property. There is a well kept play park for children just around the corner.
A lovely cottage next to a small village green. The interior was olde worlde and all furnishings were well kept. The kitchen was fully equipped from a microwave to a food mixer and a larder full of items eg sugar, teabags, etc.A lovely large garden and a small patio garden which was ideal for our King Charles Spaniels [NOT Cavalier King Charles Spaniels]. Some lovely local walks, if you turned left upon leaving cottage there was a footpath that was paved and over a small bridge to a field and the footpath continued,The farm 2 minutes away had an 'Honesty Shed' which sold, eggs, Milk [in bottles],cream yogurt, crafted pies, Belvoir drinks.Would definitely stay again.
A great base to work from. Lots to do in the local area. Nice to have a kitchen table and a dining room table. The cooker works well. The oven was slow.

Our family of six had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage! The cottage is so well equipped and lacks nothing. Lynn, our host, was very attentive and detailed. We can definitely recommend a stay here.
Lyn’s directions were clear and concise. The property is indeed very suitable for a family gathering (we hosted 10 for lunch). Lovely garden area! Several top notch pubs in the area. The house is well-equipped, but we found the towels a bit dated (easy fix for the owner). For older guests, the stairs are a narrow and a bit steep, need to use caution. We were unable to find extra toilet rolls; fortunately we had just enough!
The house was a great location for a family birthday. We particularly loved that there was a pub 15 minutes walk away which served all you can eat breakfast which was a great birthday treat without needing to cook.
A wonderful little cottage in a gorgeous setting.Snug for 6 adults but manageable, and everything as it should be.Will hopefully be returning next year for the same event!

I’m happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at 1 the Green. Thanks for the nice review- come again! Lynn
Stunning small village, the cottage had lots of space and was excellently equipped. I stayed there with my two children who loved the enclosed garden and local village (especially the tea shop). Will stay again there again.
