Great stay

Overall a great stay. Only issue was the wrong wi-fi password was given at check in and it took a day to the correct information. Otherwise the kids enjoyed staying at the “Mansion”!

Beautiful BearHunter Home

This is a beautiful "cabin" with gorgeous views! Plenty of room for our family gathering, in a great location out of the hustle & bustle of town. Easy access to hiking, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Bear Hunter Cabin

The Cabin was great with the exception of the washer which broke on day 1 and still wasn’t repaired on the day we left. Otherwise would recommend.

END OF YEAR BREAK

A great stay away from home! The property was clean and secure when we arrived. No foul odors inside the house and stocked with the essentials that were needed for our trip. Plenty of wrap around porch to sit on. Great views of the valley and mountains. The hot tub was great ! We work hard schedules and we slept the first two days there. Comfortable beds, not our home beds , but they were very comfortable. Bunk beds were a hit with the kids. The downstairs large screen TV with theatre sound was awesome! Plenty of room for all of us! We will be looking for this property on our next stay.

Annual trip

The check in was a little rough. The code provided didn’t work. Also the Wi-Fi network and password were incorrect on the email we received. A capital “R” makes a difference. After those first couple of hiccups, everything went great. This is an older property than those we stayed at before, but it was clean and provided a great experience.

Perfect for our family size.

Great view with outside rockers on both levels which was nice even in the winter. The view is amazing. All 4 bedrooms felt luxurious which means no one felt like they got the leftover room! The beds were beautiful! I loved them. But the mattresses are feeling their age. The arcade was cool! I got all the high scores on one of the games! The younger ones preferred the Xbox. The kitchen had everything you needed except maybe sharp knives and measuring cups. The coffee maker worked great! That is important! Lol. All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed the accomodations.

So much fun

(Loved the place) Cabin felt like home. Beautiful view. Well worth the money. The kids loved it. Last but not least, the upstair ac wasnt working when we arrived. It wasnt to hot or anything, I just like it to be cool. I called cabins office at 1230 am. A lady answered i told her what was wrong. I also told her it was no hurry just to take care of it by tommow evening. Long story short the ac technician shows up at 130am. And fixes it within 30 minutes. That how i knew i was at the right place. Thanks for the memories.

Wonderful

My husband and myself took our 2 boys and their families for a long weekend. (11 total) There was plenty of room for everyone. The bunk room was great for all the kids and that left all adult couples get their own rooms. Cabin was very clean. Being spring, their was plenty of pollen falling on the decks, so if you have allergies (don't go in spring). We had several 4 legged visitors two nights in a row. There is a cabin above/behind this one, but you never know its there until you are outside. The picture shown is what you see and it is very peaceful. Someone prior to our stay had helped themselves to the video came that you play on the TV. Still had the arcade game and pool table. NO problem with cell service or internet while there. Would love to revisit in future.

Wrong entry code, far from attractions, property management in Florida

So annoyed with the check-in process, I received the wrong entry code, then I called and was connected with someone in Florida who couldn't hear me because I had poor reception in the mountains, go figure. Had to try like 15+ codes and the lock kept timing out to get to the correct one. The cabin is far from attractions takes 25+ min to even get to walmart. With so many beautiful secluded cabins close to attractions with great views and amenities I will never book this place again. They even gave me a hard time because I booked it the day before we arrived, they required my license and a bank statement like my no spending limit Amex wasn't good enough. Go elsewhere, the property management company is a huge headache, the cabin is alright even though they had poor water pressure and a heavily abused pool set, weak wifi, the location is far and you're not totally secluded.

Horrible service and home filthy - do not recommend

The house itself is new and had it been clean, I'd feel differently on my poor rating. However the complete lack of service is what really was most disappointing. Many calls went unanswered. We had no heat in lower part of unit with 6 people staying in that part of cabin when we arrived with a temperature of 50 degrees in unit. I went to bed with a winter jacket on. Place was filthy. Dirt on kitchen counter, floor and in cupboards from previous guests. We had to wash all dishes before we could use them. I have many pictures to prove this. Cockroach crawled up sink drain second day. Bugs in window sills and tub as unit was vacant for weeks. What was worst of all was the lack of ownership by management company. I intentionally contacted them to give them opportunity to make this right before I posted this. Their offer was a $95 credit when I had hours into trying to get this resolved and paid over Significantly more than this per night. Really?!?! Would not recommend this management company ever! Phone number in supposed ap is discontinued. Stay away from. I feel bad for home owner as they do seem to have nice place if managed and maintained better!

Hauling Water

It was a great place everyone loved the cabin. The mountain view was great. There were 12 of us my 2 year old grandson had a ball playing on deck. The video games were a great hit for everyone. Pac Man was one of the favorite of the many games. We were with-in 20 minutes of all attractions. Our only problem was kitchen faucet water was leaking from faucet. My son noticed it late Saturday night so I waited until Sunday to call maintenance a plumber came out late Sunday and looked at faucet and said he would be back had to get some parts. He came back o Monday late took faucet and said none of parts worked so put it backed together. That night about midnight my son and son-in-law came to my bedroom and said dad we have a problem there is water leaking down the wall in downstairs bathroom so we checked and cabinet under kitchen sink was full of water so we turned off water to kitchen sink. I called maintenance early Tuesday morning and told them we had no water in kitchen told them about water leaking down wall they said there was a work order on it. Called back Wednesday and Thursday told them we had to carry water from bathroom to use in kitchen they said there is a work order. Finally on Friday I called and said we are checking out getting upset about having to continue hauling water to kitchen and hoped they got faucet fixed for other people coming Saturday. I guess they never thought about just replacing the faucet or just did care we had no water in kitchen. Would love to go back if faucet is fixed.

Loved Bear Hunt

Our family loved this cabin! There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room. The house was super clean. It was perfect between pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Our men loved playing pool. The hot tub was hot and clean. Everyone had plenty of privacy. The number of bathrooms and 1/2 baths made it super easy for a large party to get ready. The view is great. Perfect to watch the sunrise and drink coffee. We loved having 2 coffee pots. There was an xbox and 2 playstations. I would like to see more bowls in the kitchen and fluffier pillows but that was minor. The mattresses are comfy as well. We will be returning in the future. Thank you for supplying such a great place to stay!

Beautiful Cabin - Missing The Basics

Enjoyed the cabin, will not rent again. Wi-Fi was a disaster with 8mbs download. Kitchen was missing fundamentals like salt/pepper, trash bags, shampoo, tin foil, etc. We were shocked given the amount of money we paid that these basics were missing. Even the grill was on the last leg and had not been cleaned. SAFTEY CONCERN: We noticed the foundation pillars on the first floor were BOWING terribly and likely require a professional inspection to certify it for safety purposes.

Night with friends

The location of this cabin is great! It’s hidden yet easy to get to. The check in process is extremely simple…no driving around to an office to get keys. Upon arrival, the cabin was very clean and well kept. The only negative was it had been in the upper 80’s the day we checked in and the thermostat hadn’t been adjusted. It was a toasty 78 inside and took several hours to cool off the main level. We took our daughter and her friends for a one night stay, and there was more than plenty of room. Of course, they enjoyed the lower level the best. Overall, our stay was great! One suggestion would be to have a few more kitchen items available. And the only real disappointment was I asked in advance if we could stay an extra hour and check out at 11:00am instead of 10:00am, and was told quickly we could not. I had already checked and no one was coming in the day we were leaving and with the very high price we paid for about a 14 hour stay, that was a real bummer. I cooked a big breakfast for the kids and was really rushed to get everything cleaned up, trash out, beds stripped and out the door by 10:00am… what a difference an extra hour would have made. In the end, the location and cabin were great!

Absolutely Beautiful

We can't say enough about this property. The check-in process was a breeze. The property team communicated via email prior to arrival and it was seamless. The home was spotless and had more than enough room for all 7 of us adults, with 3 king size masters plus a double bunk room and 3 full baths plus 2 powder rooms. The kitchen is a nice size with plenty of amenities to have some meals at home throughout the week. And that view is like nothing I've seen before. The pictures on here do not do it justice. This is an absolutely beautiful home, located 15 mins from downtown Gatlinburg and in a gorgeous, secluded, hilltop, neighborhood. I can't recommend this home enough and we will DEFINITELY be back next year!

Was Relaxing!

A great awesome place to stay. The cabin was clean and everything laid out very well. Didnt receive check in email til noon, which is fine, but liked to of known this prior so I didnt worry what to do. The family loved the cabin. The rooms were outstanding. enough space that you could spread out. Close to either Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. If you want a close Bar and Grille - Bec's a sure local feeling with great burgers and beer. You ask, would we stay again, yes, but I like to get the great feeling of other areas of Tennessee. Enjoy the chairs and watch the world go by. The mountain view changes every hour. If I have to say anything negative - the road noise from below is distracting at times, ruins the peacefulness for a moment ( after 2 days you get use to it) The other is the internet a little slow if you have to work a little bit. The cabin and location far out ways the small things. Enjoy your stay, its worth it.
