Great location if you are looking for a quiet retreat. The property is gorgeous! We enjoyed the animals and wandering the property. While a bit remote it was easy to venture out and explore.

The guests were exceptionally courteous, warm, and gracious from the very beginning. It was an absolute pleasure to have them stay with us, and we truly appreciated the opportunity to host them. They are wonderful guests, and we would be delighted to welcome them back to Casas do Telhado anytime.

Watch your head

We had a disappointing start as the house we booked was accidentally doble booked. The owners offered us a alternative which was however less equipped and smaller. Once we had accepted the situation our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The house is located on a estate with 10 old farm houses of different categories. It is really a beautiful place and the house are suficiente apart to have suficient privacy. The house is very well equiped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed In the house named Espiqueiro, the ground floor is very nice, well equiped kitchen, fire place, tv with internet connection and very good WiFi. As they had to maintain the old sheds característics the upper floor is small and the roof very low. The beds are comfortable and you get used to the roof. The only lesser point of the house is the shower. It is to small and for large people it is really a struggle to get showered without bumping your head. It however all got well compensated by the friendly and helpful family running the place. The organised fresh bread in the morning, gave us very useful tips for days out, restaurants and places to visit. So all in all we had a great time and we would recommend this place to anyone. It is really well located near Porto, Braga and Guimarães. And the village of Amarante is only 10 km away. Have a nice stay!

Très calme, le cadre est très agréable. Location tout confort. Sur un séjour long le ménage complet est fait toutes les semaines. Pour toute question la propriétaire est facilement joignable. Merci.

Críticas Construtivas para as Casas do Telhado - Beiral

- a higiene do local para ser preservada seria conveniente ter na casa vassoura, esfregona e produtos de limpeza para os utilizadores não acumularem sujidade, uma vez que a limpeza é feita só ao fim de cerca de 1 semana; - ter sobras de rolos de papel higiénico de utilizadores anteriores não é bonito nem suficiente; - deixar gel/shampoo de banho praticamente vazio que acabou no primeiro que o utilizou também é desagradável; - o gesto de fornecer uma saca de um pão óptimo no primeiro dia foi bonito, pena foi não avisar que o gesto só se repetia se fosse solicitado; - óptimo permitir que os hóspedes levem os seus animais de estimação, mas alguém garante que eles não vão fazer as suas necessidades nos relvados das casas vizinhas onde estão crianças a brincar? Não - a casa Beiral tem na sua fronteira com as outras casas um declive de altura considerável, perigoso para crianças pequenas que não podem ser deixadas a brincar sem vigilância, pois correm o risco de cair e se magoarem com seriedade, pelo que sugeria a colocação de uma cerca de madeira; - a presença de animais na quinta é excelente e as crianças gostam muito, contudo atraem muitos insectos que infestam o interior das casas, motivo que nos levou a adquirir um químico em spray para os eliminar antes de nos irmos deitar, não tendo evitado mordidas em todos nós e com maior incidência nas crianças, pelo que sugiro a colocação de lampiões, luzes anti-moscas e mosquitos ou outra solução mais própria de preferência sem recurso a químicos; - a rede wifi tinha fraquíssima cobertura, o que não é suficiente para ultrapassar a inexistência de rede móvel para utilizar os dados de internet que são fornecidos pelo operador do telemóvel às quais são alheios de responsabilidade; - a piscina era excelente, mas a limpeza foi insuficiente e um dos seus lados tem um declive que pode ser perigoso para os mais distraídos; - foi agradável mas poderia ser muito melhor atendendo ao preço!
