Casa Gaivota - typical house in Olhão/Algarve

Small renovated house, "cubist" style architecture, located in the historic center of Olhão, Algarve; 5 minutes from the town market, small local shops, cafés/pastelarias and restaurants and 10 minutes from the ferry services to the islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol. The town of Olhão is about 15 minutes from Faro airport by car

The house has one room (double bed) a living/dining room, equipped kitchen and bathroom. There is a roof terrace with table/chairs for having meals and long chairs.

It is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, air conditioning, cutlery. Bed linen and towels are supplied.

We do not ask guests to pay a caution but request that goods/items of the house are respected according Airbnb rules and kept in place. Broken/spoilt items will be charged.

5 wunderbare Tage

Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Vermieterin und Kontaktfrau vor Ort. Habe aus Faro die Ankunftszeit des Zuges via SMS geschickt und wurde dann gleich freundlich im Haus empfangen (spricht Englisch). Alles gezeigt. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet (genug Geschirr, Geschirrspüler mit Tabs, Waschmaschine mit Waschmittel, Handtücher, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Microwelle, TV, Klimaanlage, Shampoo, WC-Papier,..). Sehr gutes WLAN. 3 Terrassen in unterschiedlichen Etagen mit Sessel, Tisch, Liegestühlen. 7 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof, etwas länger zu großem Supermarkt und zur Promenade, 1 Minute zum Minimerkato oder zur Bäckerei. Einzig die überaus bellfreudigen Nachbarshunde haben mich morgens und spätabends gestört, aber das kann man leider nicht ändern.

L'appartamento è davvero carino. Pulito, luminoso ampio e attrezzato. Vicino al mare e ai locali. Lo consiglio assolutamente.

Hello - I am Portuguese and the house is a family home. We love Olhão in all seasons for it's traditional character; typical architecture and the Ria Formosa that gives a special atmosphere to the town. We love and practice music.

It is a private family house and we have it at disposal to guests when available. We enjoy Olhão during all seasons.

The house is very close to the historic center and to local shops, restaurants, cafés/pastelarias, market plus to the ferry that takes to the islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol with lovely beaches.
