I would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful villa located in a beautiful setting, for a quiet relaxing holiday. The villa was immaculate and the addition of a private pool just added to the ambience of the venue making it extra special.

Beautiful house - brilliant location

The house was absolutely lovely with a brilliantly stocked DVD pile! Area so interesting - lots to see - wonderful food to be had - sea close by and Girona is fab.

Mas Blau is a great place to stay. We were 5 adults and 4 children and the house has plenty of room to socialise, or find your own bit of space to relax. The pool is great with the trees giving shade on one side of the pool and full sun on the other. The house is far away from the neighbours with fields all around so it felt like you had the whole of Spain to yourself in the evenings. There are a choice of supermarkets 9 mins away. We took the train to Barcelona which was 90 mins but delivered you straight into the centre of the city. We loved this house and grounds and highly recommend it.

Relaxing oasis in Catalonia

My extended family spent 2 weeks at the property in March and had a wonderful time. The property is quiet and picturesque, and the house is spacious and enjoyable to spend time in. It was very clean upon check-in and well equipped. The children loved playing in the yard and in the pool. The countryside is beautiful and I can't think of a better place to be if you like cycling (the Volta a Catalunya literally passed by the house). There are plenty of charming little towns to visit, and any shopping/grocery needs are within a 12-minute drive. The property manager was very responsive when we had any questions about the house or needed something. We would go back.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful property

We had a marvellous one week holiday at Mas Blau. The house is excellent (clean, cosy and with excellent facilities) and provided everything that our family needed to have a very relaxing week. Our boys loved the pool and the spacious (and from our point of view, very well-fenced) gardens and we enjoyed relaxing in a countryside setting watching the birdlife (especially the Hoopoe's). We didn't venture out too much but when we did found the local villages easy to reach with a number of good restaurants/bars. Despite a small hitch with the check in-process, this was soon rectified with prompt and effective communication with the host and action from the housekeeping team (who were also very keen to be helpful and to provide a warm welcome to the house and area). All in all, we thoroughly recommend Mas Blau and hope to return ourselves for another relaxing holiday in a lovely home.

Sehr schönes und komfortables Ferienhaus auf dem Land

Unsere Aufenthalt im Oktober haben wir die ganze Zeit genossen. Für das tägliche Leben war alles innerhalb von 15 min. erreichbar. Unsere Ausflüge ans Meer, Seen und Dörfer waren zwischen 30 und 60 min. erreichbar. Das Haus hat einen ganz besonderen Charme und bietet alles was man braucht. Der Swimmingpool war groß genug, aber für Oktober mit Tagestemperaturen von 25 Grad etwas zu kalt. Ich war trotzdem zweimal drin! Die Übergabe war auch problemlos egal ob An- oder Abreise. Insgesamt ist das Grundstück groß genug zum toben und spielen und auch Hunde kommen hier auf ihre Kosten, der Auslauf auf dem Land bietet sich ja quasi an. Tolle Ausstattung und wunderschöner Garten.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit mit Familie und Freunden. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut. Beeindruckt hat uns die geschmackvolle Inneneinrichtung und der sehr gepflegte Garten. Am Pool waren für uns (8 Personen) ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Toll ist das Poolhaus mit Toilette und Dusche! Das Haus liegt etwas abseits (ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zum kleinen Spar-Markt) aber dafür sehr idyllisch in den Feldern. Einzig die nahe Straße war manchmal zu hören, weshalb wir nachts oft die Fenster schließen mussten. Die Kommunikation mit Viveca von der Agentur über WhattsApp hat einwandfrei geklappt. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Grandioos verblijf

We waren met 6 volwassenen en 3 kinderen en hebben een fantastische 9 dagen daar gehad Het huis,de tuin en het zwembad waren super. Alles was in zeer goede staat en de uitstraling van het gebouw was geweldig We voelden ons er geweldig in thuis en zijn met een zekere weemoed uit vertrokken We denken er met veel plezier aan terug We kunnen geen minpunten bedenken Zeker een aanrader

Geweldige warme vakantieweek

Gezellige vakantiewoning met alles erop en eraan, zeer vlot contact met de eigenares. Rustige ligging tussen twee pitoreske dorpjes met gezellige restaurants. Mooi zwembad en een enorm verzorgde tuin. Enige minpunt niet alle kamers hebben airco en bij deze hitte was dit een must geweest(35 tot 40°)

Wonderful Family Stay

We were a family of 10 (4 kids, 6 adults) and had a wonderful stay. The house is connected by a new walking/biking/running trail to both Madremanya and Monells. The house has beautiful views in every direction. The property is fenced which was great for the kids playing in the yard..plus an interior fence around the pool for safety. The home is lovely and had everything we needed from WiFi, kitchen items, washer/dryer, heat, etc.. Hosts were incredible- if anything came up, they responded right away. Highly recommend!

Preciosa casa en un entorno idílico

La casa es maravillosa, está muy bien conservada y tiene los baños renovados. Muy acogedora con un jardín impecable , de en sueño . Fuimos con un bebé de un año y nos facilitaron cuna, (la piscina está vallada ). El ama de llaves es encantadora y muy dispuesta. Estuvimos súper a gusto. 100% recomendable.

Wonderful Property

Our family of four spent several enjoyable weeks at Mas Blau in the Spring of 2020. The house is a beautifully restored Catalan farmhouse set amidst wheat fields just outside of Madremanya. The bedrooms are well decorated with comfortable beds and nice sheets. The bathrooms have been recently renovated. The house is well equipped and everything works well. Our kids loved the large selection of DVDs for movie night. The pool area is very comfortable and is a great place to spend the day relaxing. The property is surrounded by numerous dirt roads that are great for quiet hikes and bike rides. Nearby Monells has a few restaurants and bars and Bisbal d’Emporda at 15 minutes by car has an excellent selection of grocery stores and amenities. Property manager was excellent and available to answer all of our questions and help us with some special requests. If you’re looking for a great house in Emporda this is it.

Girona countryside

Wow, what a trip and stay at the villa in Madremanya. Great location about a 30 min drive from Girona and the Costa Brava coast. We loved the quiet of the countryside and spacious rooms of the villa. Nice modern baths and everything you could need in the kitchen. We will be back!

What a Joy!!

We have stayed in many villas and this has to be the best by far! utterly beautiful in every way. So tranquil in its setting and every possible need catered for. The beds are extremely comfortable, the furnishings and furniture are lovely quality and aesthetically very pleasing. We had the most wonderful time.

Incroyable sejour

Nous avons passé 4 nuits à mas Blau, et avons été enchanté par notre séjour. La maison est magnifique, tout a été choisi avec goût, et le jardin qui entoure la propriété très bien entretenu. Nos 3 enfants ont profité de la piscine tous les jours, ainsi que des raquettes. Nous espérons revenir, c’etait un véritable havre de paix.
