Lake Mi Getaway w/hot tub - Relax on 2 acres-plenty of space to unwind

Welcome to "Lake to Grapes" - Only 90 miles from Chicago!

Bridgman is a little gem located between St. Joe and Warren Dunes State Park! Just minutes from some of the best beaches on Lake Michigan, craft breweries, hiking trails, golf courses, and SW Michigan Wine Trails.

Relax in the upper level of our bi-level vacation home on 2.5 acres that sits off the main street, giving you a taste of nature, and complete privacy! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath sleeps 8 guests, and includes a beautiful Master suite! Close to town yet feels like the countryside.

The deck off the kitchen overlooks the beautiful park like backyard, which has a grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Private location, plenty of space indoors and out!

Please note that this is the upper level of our bi-level home, with a private entrance. We will not be renting the lower level during your stay, so you will have the property to yourself and will not have to share any amenities.

We all love our pets and hate to leave them behind, so we welcome up to two well-groomed pets as long as guests agree to follow our pet rules. As a courtesy to future guests that may have severe allergies to pets, we DO NOT allow pets on the furniture or bedding, and guests must clean up any additional shedding. Pet's must be crated when left alone. Guests must pick up after them outside. We charge $50 Per pet. Please let us know if you'll be bringing a pet.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start a load of towels in the washing machine Make sure grill is clean and covered Check for leftover belongings
Cleaners will arrive at 11am and will do an inspection before cleaning. Please let me know if anything was accidentally damaged during your stay so we can make arrangements to have it repaired
Turn thermostat to 75 degrees in the summer and 65 during the winter
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Special events or parties allowed. No fireworks. Guests are expected to respect the house and property and leave it clean as they found it.
2 pets are allowed @ $50 per pet. Pets are not allowed on the furniture/bedding and must be crated when left alone. Pickup after them outside.
Brush the sand off of your body and shake it out of your towels before entering the house. Rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.

Great for a moms weekend away

My girlfriends and I were looking for a place to stay for the weekend with a hot tub and this was a very cute, secluded and inexpensive option. I love that there is enough space for multiple families to stay also if that’s what you’re looking for! Between the fire pit, grill, hot tub and a decent amount of land and privacy, this would be a great place for any occasion.

Hi Lanette, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The instructions for the hot tub jets are in the check-in instructions. The jets are controlled by the main knob on the left side as you enter the hot tub. Everything is working properly, and the instructions were listed in the check-in instructions. Sorry you missed it but encourage guests to read all of the information given in the welcome message and check-in instructions.

Me and some friends take a weekend away in January every year, and we decided to head down near Saint Joseph! We were driving through a snowstorm, so it was hand to find at first, but we got there! It was very clean with a homey feel.

New Year’s Eve get away

My wife and I booked this home last minute. Rebecca got back to us quickly to confirm reservations along with all the details for checking in. Home was located down a small lane off the highway. The house was very clean and well maintained. If you stay in this wonderful home in the winter months be sure to bring a robe and slippers to wear for your short walk to the Hot tub. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I get away for our anniversary. This place was quiet other than the couple passing commuter trains, which was never while we were sleeping. Hot tub was nice, but would be nice if access wasn't just through the front door. But not a big deal. Everything was clean, lots of kitchen necessities to cook, fridge was clean, etc. Enjoyed our stay.

Hi Daniel, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. However, I don't quite understand your comment regarding being close to the interstate and noticeable noise. We are nowhere near the interstate, and the property is so peaceful and quiet. There is a train that runs through the area that can be heard occasionally, but even that has never been bothersome.
