Quaint homey Home

We had a good experience. The home was further from downtown Aiken than we thought but that is on us. Comfortable, clean older home with some definite signs of aging. Just like me and the friend I stayed there with.

Quick Getaway

We had to book a last minute property for a family visit. The place is a little outdated but an overall nice stay. The fenced in backyard is perfect for our furry family.

Clean and efficient

Very clean in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Bruce’s Field, which was great for our purpose. Only negative for us was accessing the internet and TV. But, no big deal.

Communication and problem solver

The owner was an effective communicator. The directions to the home along with what to expect upon arrival were exactly what was stated. The owner is kind and understanding. I would definitely rent from her again when in the area.

Nice get away comfortable and convenient.

Upon arrival the house was exactly as the pictures show. Carol was a great host, we enjoyed the patio and fenced yard for our dog. The beds were comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. We will definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you Carol!! Debbie Walke

Carolyn’s Aiken Place

We enjoyed our stay in Aiken at Carolyn’s Aiken Place. Her home is in a residential neighborhood that is convenient to downtown, and horse events. The home is comfortably furnished, well maintained and clean with internet and plenty of TV’s. We had no negative experiences in the home, the neighborhood, or in Aiken. Aiken folks are very friendly and enjoy meeting people from other parts of the country.

Just right for our family. Feels like home, only better decorated!

We came to Aiken to see my folks for a family reunion. All the other long-distance extended family members just checked in hotels, so we (my husband, kids, and I) were the ones with a great place to invite uncles/aunts over for an afternoon when we didn't want to burden our elderly parents with constant guests. The house is beautifully decorated, but not so fancy that you can't feel relaxed and right at home. It's large enough so that kids can have their own space and not be underfoot. Unfortunately, the weather was very hot when we came, so we didn't get a chance to grill outdoors and use the enclosed patio. Ms. White is wonderfully friendly and helpful. Shopping and restaurants are all close by. A great experience all the way around!

Nice older home, centrally located, comfortable, clean, courteous owner

We stayed 8 days for our son's Aiken wedding. The house is older but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having all our family together in one place. Easy access to Wal Mart, Sams Club, Hopeland Gardens and downtown. We were able to have the groomsman over one evening to play video games and an impromptu lunch the day of the wedding. Netflix was nice since it was HOT outside. We enjoyed the porch in the cool of the morning. Carolyn communicates well and is available if problems arise. Would definitely stay again if in Aiken. Who knows? Carol, thanks for the cold water bottles! We arrived later in the evening and they were so refreshing.

Truly home away from home.

While we were not in Aiken under the best of circumstances (hurricane evacuation), the house was just perfect for us. It was truly home away from home for us. It was clean and comfortable. We brought two coolers of food with us and we love to cook. The kitchen was roomy with modern appliances and we prepared every meal but one there. We even grilled salmon on the outdoor grill. The screened in porch was very pleasant with comfortable seating. Each bedroom had a ceiling fan which my family is used to. There are four flat panel televisions and wi-fi (very important these days). We found several things to do in Aiken...went to the library, train museum, craft fair, and the extensive area devoted to horses. We had a delightful stay and would definitely go back should the need arise.

Great house - roomy and comfortable

We stayed at Carolyn's house for 6 weeks, while we are waiting for our new house to be built. We loved the area, close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The house was very roomy and comfortable with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The screened in patio out back was wonderful. We really enjoyed spending some time out there when we got a break in the weather. Our dogs loved running around in the fenced in back yard. It was nice for them and us not having to take them out on a leash each time. The house was well stocked and equipped with everything you needed. Carolyn was very attentive and was easy to contact if any problems arose. She knew that I needed to be able to work on my computer during the day, so she set-up a table and office chair for me in one of the bedrooms. She was very thoughtful and I really appreciated it. I would definitely recommend this house if you are planning a trip to Aiken. Karen & Andy

Our stay at Aiken SC

The whole trip was a total success, the house was perfect, very clean and comfortable, the only issue was the Internet/WIFI that it took a couple of days to get it to work, Carolyn was very concern and helped in getting TMOBILE to get the internet/wifi up and running.
