We were in Aiken for a family wedding and the house was the perfect landing spot for our family. It allowed good family space while to spend time together as well as enough space to have some privacy if you needed space to chill. Very walkable to downtown and great restaurants and shopping. Plus all the amenities to make your stay comfortable!
The house was very large and very clean! Located close to downtown Aiken, we loved our time there. Looking forward to planning another trip soon and would recommend staying at this house to anyone.
Thank you so much, Jeff! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. I’m glad you enjoyed the house, and we’d be happy to host you again anytime you’re back in Aiken.
The host was very welcoming and was definitely five-star and perfect for our family of seven plus a caregiver. It was immaculate, with extra sheets and towels, plenty of space for our food, and lots of room for snacks. The bathrooms were amazing, especially the primary bathroom. The shower felt like bathing in a waterfall, and with the body jets and the soaker tub, we could not get our kids out! The beds were very comfortable, and the layout allowed us to spend time together without being on top of each other

Thank you so much, Dana, for the wonderful review! We’re truly grateful you chose our home during such an important time for your family. It means a lot to hear that the space worked well for everyone and that you enjoyed the comfort, layout, and especially the primary bathroom, it’s one of our favorite features too! We’re so glad the home provided a relaxing and welcoming place for you all. You were a pleasure to host, and you’re always welcome back to Aiken.
The home is beautiful and new. We are seniors and the neighborhood felt unsafe for us.Vacant lot a half block away where 15 to 20 menhang out and drink and play loud music every day. The other homes near by are very run down.
The house is beautiful and is well appointed with everything you could need. It’s obvious the host has put a lot of thought into making it comfortable, clean and inviting. The host was very kind and the process was seamless from beginning to end. Would definitely come back!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
The rental itself is beautiful - well maintained, very spacious, and thoughtfully designed inside. There are a few things future guests may want to know:• There are no hangers in the closets, so bring your own if you plan to hang clothing.• The refrigerator water dispenser was not working during our stay, so we purchased bottled water.• The couch is not especially sturdy or comfortable and feels more like a futon.• The electronic lock system is convenient, though an additional interior locking option (such as a door chain or secondary deadbolt) would have provided extra peace of mind.• The property is a very short drive into town (about 3 minutes), but walking to town would not be ideal. One important consideration is the surrounding area. While the house itself is lovely, the immediate neighborhood was not what we expected based on the listing or prior reviews. The condition of nearby properties and general activity in the area made us feel less comfortable, particularly as we were traveling with young children. This aspect of the stay had a meaningful impact on our overall experience and may be worth noting for future guests, especially families.Overall, the house itself is beautiful and conveniently located. Guests should simply be aware of the surrounding neighborhood when deciding if this property is the right fit for them.
Very clean large house. Very close to our venues- host was very responsive

As an Aikenite I have been educated and experienced all of what our great Town has to offer. We are happy to guide you through all of what our beautiful area has to offer. From Equestrian to fine Dining, come enjoy our Town.
Why they chose this property
This location is carefully selected to complement tinge History of Aiken.
Aiken was founded in 1835 as a stop along the historic South Carolina Canal and Railroad line, one of the nation’s first long-distance railroads, built to connect Charleston with the interior. The town grew around its rail station, attracting commerce, travelers, and later becoming a popular winter retreat for wealthy Northerners. Union Street, located near Aiken’s original downtown and rail corridor, remains part of this early layout — linking the area’s historic railroad roots with today’s vibrant shopping, dining, and equestrian districts, making it both historically significant and centrally positioned for visitors.
What makes this property unique
A true work of heart in the heart of Aiken. Coming for a Horse Show, or looking for a downtown get away. This location is perfect for special moments.
