ESTRELA MAR - apartment inserted in the Casa Alto de Santo António. It is an open space apartment, consisting of bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom, all integrated. Large solarium / terrace outside, with sea view. It occupies the entire upper floor of the house.
The house 'Alto de Santo António' is a family villa, recently restructured and remodeled for local accommodation. It consists of 4 independent apartments with quality living conditions.
The following apartments are part of this complex:
Azul Mar (Ground floor), typology T2;
Sol e Mar (1st South), typology T1;
Verde Mar (1st North), typology T1;
Star Sea (2nd Full floor), typology T0, open space.

These apartments can be rented separately, or in combination with one of the other apartments, for larger groups (the whole house can accommodate 10 people).
The place is quiet and very close to the beach and some good restaurants.

Very enjoyable and relaxing holidays

We have enjoyed every hour of our time at Madeira.The flat is nice and provides all we needed - and more, like a remarkable location in the middle of the banana plantage, and an awesome view at the ocean. Thanks to Nelson Silva for the information and support that he has provided!

Amazing apartment in a banana plantation

Very nice and peaceful apartment in the middle of a banana plantation. The apartment was very clean and the landlords were very friendly and helpful. The area is quiet and it is very peaceful to sit on the terrace that has a wonderful view over the Atlantic ocean. We enjoyed the stay here very much and can wholeheartedly recommend booking this.

Very clean and spacious

Magnifique séjour

Un logement simple mais bien équipé, confortable, avec une vue superbe depuis la terrasse ensoleillée. Nous avons adoré l'accès par le jardin. L'accueil et les échanges avec Nelson très aimable et très serviable. De bons conseils. Merci à nos hôtes pour ce séjour.

Très bel environnement

Le principal atout de cet appartement est sans aucun doute la terrasse de 40m² qui offre une vue exeptionnelle sur l'océan atlantique!!! Interrieur de l'appartement est très spacieux. Beaucoup de rangements. Belle vue sur les bananiers et 2 cascades depuis la cuisine et la chambre. Salle de bain correcte même si la cabine de douche est un peu petite. En revanche, la litterie est limite, surtout pour un des matelas qui serait à changer. L'accueil des propriétaires est extrêmement chaleureux avec bananes et pain. Merci Fernanda. Un grand merci également à Nelson pour tous ses conseils et sa bonne humeur. Bravo

Sehr schön gelegene Wohnung mit toller Terrasse

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und danken dem Gastgeber. Die Dachwohnung hat einen eigenen Zugang und man ist ungestört auf der davor liegenden Terasse.

Beautiful place in a small village

Herzlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümerfamilie, wobei wir leider kein Portugiesisch konnten. Ein englischsprachiger Hausverwalter ist fernmündlich für alles da, was man wissen muss. Der tatsächliche Eingang war beim ersten Mal etwas schwierig zu finden, allerdings hatte ich auch die kurzfristig zugeschickte genaue Positionsangabe zwischen den vielen anderen Nachrichten mit Touren- und Restaurantsvorschlägen übersehen. Die Hauptstraße ist weit genug weg, man hört nur die Meeresbrandung, den Hahn und den Wasserfall in der Felswand (manchmal). Ein paar kleine tierische Mitbewohner mussten wir in den ersten Tagen noch erschlagen, aber dann war das auch erledigt. Die Terrasse mit tollem Blick auf das Meer ist natürlich großartig. Wir sind also rundherum zufrieden mit unserem Urlaub dort und danken für die Gastfreundschaft.

Sehr schönes Appartment mit großer Dachterrasse und Rundumblick vom Meer und den Bergen hinter dem Haus. Vom eigenen Parkplatz gelangt man durch die Bananen Plantage und Hühnerstall zum Haus. Sehr nette, freundliche Vermieter (sprechen leider nur portugiesisch), auch der Manager Nelson war sehr hilfreich. Mehrmals pro Woche gab es gratis köstliche Bananen, Mangos etc.. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt auf der Insel!

Madeira im Herbst

Wir haben eine schöne Woche auf Madeira verbracht. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man so braucht, eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer und ist genau groß genug für 2 Personen. Die Lage des Ortes ist Top für die verschiedensten Unternehmungen auf der Insel. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolle Wohnung mit atemberaubenden Blick auf den Atlantik. Herausragende Gastgeber.

Wir haben die Wohnung aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen und der zentralen Lage gebucht. Wir sind begeistert. Die Wohnung selbst ist so geräumig, dass man auch mal länger bleiben kann, ohne dass es eng wird (wir wohnten 17 Tage dort). Die Terrasse ist riesig und ein echtes Highlight. Wenn man morgens die Flügeltüren aufmacht, hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Atlantik und das Rauschen der Wellen im Ohr. Hervorzuheben ist auch, dass die Wohnung mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man braucht. Auch deutsche Urlaubslektüre, falls das eigene Buch schon ausgelesen ist. Eine Waschmaschine kann benutzt werden und sogar ein Grillplatz ist vorhanden. Und das Auto kann man auf dem Grundstück parken. Die beiden Vermieter, Fernanda und Quintino, sind überaus herzliche Menschen, sie haben uns mit Obst, selbst gebackenem Brot und Kuchen verwöhnt. Zusammen mit Nelson, dem Verwalter, der englisch spricht, sind sie ein tolles Team. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder, nächstes Mal mit etwas Portugiesisch im Gepäck :-) Muito obrigada! Babette & Helmut

Schöne Wohnung

Sehr schöne Wohnung und super Sonnenterasse! Die Besitzer selbst sprechen nur Portugiesisch, sind sehr nett und versorgen einen mit eigenen Bananen. Es gibt zusätzlich einen englischsprachigen Verwalter, der unkompliziert alles erklärt und weiterhilft. Wir haben viele Ausflüge mit dem Mietwagen gemacht und Abends die drei Restaurants am Ort besucht. Sehr schön für 2 Personen.

Herrlicher Meerblick

Wir haben uns über den herzlichen Empfang sehr gefreut. Wir fühlten uns in der unbekannten Umgebung sehr gut untergebracht. Die Dachwohnung besteht aus einem großen Raum mit integrierter Küchenzeile, einem kleinen Bad und der riesigen Terrasse. Sie bietet genügend Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Wir haben durch die gute Verkehrsanbindung die Ausflüge mit dem Mietwagen in die Ecken der Insel sowie zu den Levada-Wanderungen sehr genossen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Vielen Dank! Au top !

Super séjour à Madère passé en amoureux. Nous avons eu le sourire dès notre arrivée avec un Nelson très accueillant, très gentil, le coeur sur la main et qui parle très bien français! Joli appartement bien aménagé. Terrasse agréable avec une belle vue sur la mer d'un côté, et sur une grande cascade de l'autre. Nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour les propriétaires, qui logent au rez-de-chaussée. Ils ont su nous faire profiter de leur générosité avec des bananes de leurs bananeraies, des oeufs frais de leur poulailler, du pain maison... Miam, nous en salivons encore ! "Petit" pincement au coeur lors du départ, nous espérons pouvoir revenir très bientôt. Merci encore à vous et surtout restez comme vous êtes ! Léa et Nico

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette location conforme à la description .A notre arrivée Nelson nous attendait pour nous aider à lier avec les propriétaires . C'est une personne très à l'écoute et extrêmement gentille que ce soit au téléphone ou sur place. Une corbeille de petites bananes de la plantation était présente à notre arrivée et au moment du départ les propriétaires nous ont offert une spécialité de l'île. La location sur la côte sud est un bon choix car il y fait beaucoup plus beau que sur la côte nord. De plus elle est bien située, à mi chemin entre la capitale et la plage de sable de Calheta . Urlaub abseits der Touristenzentren

Die FeWo ist ruhig gelegen mit schönem Blick auf's Meer. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, die uns mit Bananen aus eigenem Anbau, frisch-gebackenem Brot und Kuchen überrascht haben. Allerdings ist die FeWo bei individueller Anreise schwer zu finden (unbedingt Vermieter kurz vorher kontaktieren!).

Eine absolut pefekte und schöne Ferienwohnung!

Die Lage ist sehr gut, der Blick toll und Vermieter und Verwalter sind sehr freundlich. Die Vermieter vermitteln eine persönliche und herzliche Atmosphäre, halten sich aber auch zurück, so dass man den Urlaub wirklich selbst gestalten und genießen kann. Die geografische Lage der Wohnung ist günstig, man ist schnell an vielen Orten im Westen, Osten und Norden der Insel (im Süden wohnt man ja schon). Man wohnt mitten in einem kleinen Ort, sehr ruhig und umgeben von Bananenplantagen. Man kann auf der herrlichen Terrasse sitzen, das Meer rauschen hören und weit auf den Atlantik schauen. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, die Betten sind angenehm, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Was will man mehr? Ein gutes Restaurant ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Auch der Verwalter ist sehr herzlich und hilft mit Englisch, wenn man ohne portugiesische Sprachkenntnissen mal nicht weiterkommt.

Gepflegte Wohnung, tolle Terrasse, gut gelegen

Eine liebevoll gestaltete Wohnung, mit allem, was man im Urlaub braucht. Die Terrasse ist riesig und man hat einen sensationellen Rundblick auf Bananen, Berge, Wasserfälle und natürlich das Meer. Die Vermieter, Fernanda und Quintino, sind mit Abstand die nettesten, die wir je hatten. Immer mal wieder gab es Gebäck, frisches Brot oder Bananen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wer sich an den getrennten Betten nicht stört, kann hier Erholung und Idylle pur genießen.

Wonderful location in Ponta do Sol

We had a wonderful time in the rooftop apartment with a fantastic view and sunshine all day long. The flat was bright and furnished tasteful and most parts were clean. The hosts were absolutely friendly, sincere, helpful and respected privacy. As the kitchen was simply equipped, we prefered the fantastic restaurants nearby. Renting a car is absolutely essential there. The hosts will help you in finding a good offer.
