Amazing place to stay with adapted facilities in an amazing area, super nice hosts will definitely recommend to families, and will definitely be staying again
Slightly rundown and shabby.
Cot in room (not requested) had mattress covered in what appeared to be dog hairs.
We wondered about how thoroughly it had been cleaned.

Brilliant location especially with the dogs and the walks straight from the back door!
Local cafe was great, unfortunately pub was shut for a couple of days.
Would recommend this location to anyone who likes somewhere quite with beautiful stunning locations.
Cottage had everything you could want, especially liked the two bedrooms having their own en-suite and at opposite ends of the cottage so we’re private but together.

The holiday was a real surprise and enjoyed by all.
The holiday was a real surprise and enjoyed by all. It was my first trip out since February and was pleasantly surprised by the journey only 90 minutes .We had to make bookings for meals due to virus so knew where we would visit every day. A trip down memory lane every day along the south coast. A lovely cottage to return to both comfortable , well equipped and spacious

We had a great stay at the bull pen. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend away. The outdoor space was great and the kids had a great time exploring. We will defiantly be back and recommend such a lovely setting.

It was a lovely stay, but a bit difficult to sit outside due to the kerosene tank next door which must have had a leak and had an invasive smell. We had to take our chairs to the top of the garden to move away from it. Everything else was great.

The Bull Pen was a lovely location but it was letdown by the cleanliness of the place. The enclosed garden we had to keep our dog on a lead when she went out as full of huge thistles. The patio area wasnt very inviting as full of weeds and dull. The cottage was in need of a good clean we even wrote clean me in the dust on the tv stand. Such a shame as it could be so nice but we won’t be going back again.

Whilst the Bull Pen suited our needs with Charlie (12) and there was plenty of outside space and a village shop to get our newspaper the whole property was let down by the lack of cleanliness. The cleaner is obviously not doing a very good job. A few everyday items such as salt, pepper and plastic containers wouldn't go amiss and perhaps a few more games etc for children. The back outside patio could do with a good sweep and weed.

A lovely cottage in a quiet location.
A lovely cottage in a quiet location. We visited with my elderly mother and the facilities were perfect for our needs, both bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and being all on one level suited those with less mobility. It was nice to be able to let our two dogs out into the garden knowing it was safe and enclosed, with great walks to be had within a short distance. The only improvement I would suggest is a king size bed rather than a double, as the bedroom was certainly big enough to accommodate one.

Just returned from a short break at this wonderful, very dog and owner friendly cottage with all the amenities you could want. The log fire was a real bonus to come back to as we had some horrendous wet and windy weather. The older of our two labradors loved lying in front of it. The village store was handy for any essentials you might need plus the bonus of gorgeous cake!! The only criticism we had was the very noisy fan in the bathroom, which stayed on for a few minutes after turning the light off.....not great in the middle of the night or for a relaxing bath. Would definitely recommend though.
