Great apartment and location for Funchal

The apartment and building were modern, well-cared for, and very clean. Location is perfect for exploring Madeira!

Firstly, I would ask whether this property had ever been 'lived in'? With 2double bedrooms it is meant to accommodate four people? 4 people cannot sit together on that terrace with that small table. My wife often felt excluded.The kitchen: poorly thought out....lack of cutlery and crockery. The workspace for food preparation is practically non existent. (-It would be better to relocate the fridge/freezer and put in a work bench.) The first week we only had one tea towel although on the mid stay servicing a second one was provided. There were no cleaning materials provided to maintain the cleanliness - these we had to purchase at the local supermarket. Given the amount of electrical equipment, there are only two power sockets in the kitchen - one is dangerously located over the gas hob (Health & Safety). There was no oven cloth provided - this was provided by the agent after a week - yet only one? Unsafe to remove very hot items safely with only one oven mitt. Saucepans - nothing intermediate between a small and large pan.Main bedroom ensuite - having found the shower dangerously slippery, in the absence of a anti-slip mat this was purchased independently (again, a safety issue).2nd bedroom - bed very low. The bathroom opposite: the shower cubicle was found to be extremely small for an adult to enter/exit.The pool - after a children's birthday party on the weekend that we arrived, the pool appeared to have have been contaminated and took 11 days to get sorted! (??)

Estadia no apartamento Gardênia

O serviço prestado pela empresa MHM, especialmente a receção foi excepcional. Localização e qualidade do apartamento muito bons, correspondeu 100% a expetativa Único ponto negativo a apontar foi a grelha do exaustor estar um pouco estragada, está do sempre a saltar (apenas um pormenor).
