This penthouse unit overlooks the infinity edge pool and turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean. Playa del Carmen has become one of Mexico’s most charming and unique international destinations with a three-story height restriction and a pedestrian friendly small town atmosphere.

The incredible location of Luna Encantada, places you beachfront and only one block from the center of the famous Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) walking mall. Here you will find a collection of boutique shops, restaurants, open-air bars and nightclubs. Visit Cozumel by ferry (just three blocks away), Isla Mujeres, Xel-ha, or the ruins of Chichen Itza, Coba, or Tulum. Whether your desire is to shop, golf, snorkel, scuba, windsurf, parasail, fish, bike, boat, jet ski, hike or walk, this home away from home places you in the center of it all!

Next door is a beachside bistros for breakfast or lunch and dinner. Other choices range from regional Mexican cuisine to five-star dining. This home offers guests a culturally perfected three-bedroom condominium, with no details overlooked. The three spacious rooms comfortably accommodate six people. The master suite, with attached bathroom and walk-in closet, has one king-size bed. The other two bedrooms have one queen-size bed each, with ample closet space, and share one bathroom. Flat screen tv's in each room and a secure safe for valuables.

A fully appointed gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops has everything you would need to make a gourmet meal. The bathrooms are luxurious with hand carved marble sink bowls and walk-in glass showers. Travertine marble floors cover and cool the entire condominium and spills out onto the private covered terrace before rounding the corner to continue up to the roof-top.

• HOW DO WE GET THERE FROM CANCUN AIRPORT? Playa is a 45-minute drive south of the airport. We provide a private van service for approx. $185 round trip, max 8 people, child seats available. Other options: taxi, rental car, ADO bus.
• WHERE IS THE PROPERTY? The property is located in the heart of Playa’s main tourist district. One block from Fifth avenue. Fifth avenue is a world famous, 70+block pedestrian promenade with relaxed cafes and gourmet restaurants, exclusive lounges, and al fresco bars, ice cream, intriguing boutiques and local purveyors of all types and variety.
• IS THE PROPERTY TRULY BEACHFRONT? Yes, and all the condos that we represent are beach front and have stunning ocean views.
• DO WE NEED A CAR? Not necessarily- Playa is pedestrian friendly and close to everything. We typically walk or take a cab and rent a car on an as needed basis for regional excursions.
• WHERE DO WE GROCERY SHOP? We have several small markets within one block and several full-service grocery stores within a 5 min walk. We also offer a grocery delivery service for your convenience.
• HOW OFTEN DO WE GET MAID SERVICE? We offer mid stay house keeping . Upon arrival- fresh linens, bath and beach towels, soap, shampoo, paper towels, bottled purified water, laundry detergent for the washer/dryer is provided. For 8 nights or longer we offer a midstay linen and towel change.
• DO YOU HAVE TV and INTERNET SERVICE? We have cable/smart TV and high speed wireless internet.
• CAN YOU RECOMMEND ACTIVITIES AND RESTAURANTS? Yes. We are always updating our list of favorite activities and restaurants to recommend to our guests.
• DO YOU OFFER CONCIERGE SERVICES? We offer Personal Assistance for some travel ideas.
• DO WE NEED TO GET PESOS? All stores and restaurants in Playa will take dollars and Euros. There are ATMs nearby and places to change money. We recommend small denominations in US dollars which are very useful for tipping and cab rides around town.

Great Condo in Playa Del Carmen

Our family of five enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was very comfortable and clean. Edith the property manager is very attentive and full of local information, which she is very willing to share. Victor and the other security personnel also were very attentive and opened the security gate upon recognizing us coming in or out. We felt appreciated. There is plenty to do on Avenue 5, or day trips to Cozumel, cenotes or theme parks.

We were there to celebrate Thanksgiving with our adult children. The unit had tons of room, clean and excellent location. We were worried about the noise since it was so close to 5th St and the Inti Bar but the unit was very quiet. Location to the beach, 5th St and everything you need was perfect. Already planning on returning in the next few months.

Beautiful 3 bedroom condo with an amazing rooftop patio with hammocks and cushioned benches & chairs. Everything worked great (AC, WIFI, filtered water also provided). Beach was nice and clean with great food and drink service on the beach from the restaurant next door. The staff sets up lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach for guests.

Awesome location with great staff.

This property was excellent with plenty of room for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with cooking and storage containers, plenty of towels for bath and pool, cleaned the condo twice while there. The rooftop was great! Always breezy and 2 hammocks pretty much in the shade all day. We spent most our mornings and evenings there. I would definitely stay at this property again. My entire family age 13 to 52 loved it.

Lovely quiet condo but close to everything!

The condo as well as the check in process was as described and we had no problems. Everyone was very helpful Just a short walk to almost anything you could want. The freezer could have been colder as it took quite a while to freeze ice. The last day we had an issue with getting one of the safes open. Our passports were in there and when we called the gentleman said he would be there in 15 minutes. About two hours later he arrived and we weren't late for the ride to the airport, but we were a little worried.

Wonderful location and beautiful condo!

The condo and property are beautiful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Abdias, the beach concierge, was friendly and very helpful. There were a few glitches. 1. We did not receive information from the manager on how to access the condo. When we arrived very late in the evening the front desk person had to call someone to get the door code for us. 2. The listing for the condo listed having laundry soap on site for the washer and dryer, but there was none there. Also, housekeeping services were listed but none ever showed up, which is ok, but when we needed to empty the garbage we didn't know what to do with the full bags. 3. There were no kitchen towels. I had to buy a few to use. We left them there for the next guest. 4. We ran out of drinking water and had buy more until a replacement came. Overall these were minor inconveniences, but I didn't know how to contact the manager to resolve them. We would definitely stay here again and encourage anyone else to do so!

The staff was amazing. Front gate attendant was extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived early he stored our bags in a locked room until check in time. Abdias & Edwin made the beach time the highlight of our stay. Abdias was extremely helpful and friendly, always quick to setup umbrellas and assist with anything we could need, and Edwin from INTI Beach Club kept the drinks flowing. We enjoyed getting to know them and appreciate the excellent service they provided. I would caution any family with young children to be careful with the rooftop lounge area. Because of the built in seating around the edge, it would be easy for a young child to climb up and over the edge. Because we were traveling with our young daughter, we unfortunately didn’t get to use this area as often as we hoped. Overall, it’s a very nice condo, in an excellent location, and the staff are amazing.

We loved the property, although seaweed invasion going on (Mother Nature). Unit was very nice, only complaints… hall bathroom toilet needs some help, doesn’t flush well at all. The patio furniture is not comfortable and the glass on the coffee table is to big for table leaving sharp corners sticking out. Town and shopping so close that was nice. Do remember that you are in a foreign country and many do not speak English, or at least they say they don’t. Exchanging your money for pesos would be helpful. All in all it was a good stay and it was our first stay in Playa del Carmen and the first is always a little awkward but worth it. Thanks much

The perfect location in Playa

There is no better choice for a stay in Playa del Carmen. The spacious well- appointed condo was absolutely as we had hoped. We’re glad we paid for a Luna Encantada unit with a rooftop space. We loved the hammocks and the view was amazing. Having direct access to the beach with complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella if you want one is terrific. Plus service from two restaurants on either side of the property- it almost didn’t seem real. We felt very safe as there is a staffer at the front door gate who also watches the comings and goings from the garage. Great access to 5th Avenue but venturing a block or two away for restaurants is easy. We hope to come back - we can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Amazing Beachfront Condo

Loved everything about staying in F3 at Luna Encantada. The 3 bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious. While we didn't cook the kitchen would be fantastic for anyone wanting to do so. The property management on site provided filtered water so that is a plus as well. One of the best parts of the condo is the rooftop deck with hammocks, seating and table, and a grill. After the sun has retreated from the beach and pool for the day you can always go up to the rooftop for a couple extra hours of sunlight. The beach was phenomenal as well. Walking the beach strip daily it's very noticeable that Luna has one of the best taken care of parts of the beach along the playa strip. There is staff that setups up beach chairs daily and will order drinks and food from restaurants next door. The location is also perfectly situated right on the beach but also just off 5th avenue for a quick walk to shopping and food in the evenings. Would definitely return to Luna Encantada and F3 in particular.

Comfortable and beautiful

I was nervous to book a place I'd never seen, especially a condo where so many things could go wrong. We picked PDC as a spot to bring our two adult children and our 7 year old for all the obvious reasons. The question was: how do we all stay together? I obsessed over finding a three bedroom condo with a pool on the ocean. In fact I basically obsessed so much that places in my top 5 were getting rented. Luna Encantada looked great and we just decided to go for it. First, booking through Susan was basically booming through the US. It was a concern that we would show up and something wouldn't be right or there would be a bait and switch of some sort. But the booking was easy and simple and perfect. Second, the location of the condo right on the water is no joke. I'm typing on my phone from the balcony looking over the pool and listening to the waves. It seems like a small pool in the photos compared to the mega resorts but it's quite large and was perfect for our 7 year to run back and forth to the beach. The water is 3.5 feet deep all around. There are 17 people in the pool right now (most of the last two weeks there have been 0-4 people in the pool). We are one third of a block to 5th street and all restaurants and shops and about 3/10s of a mile to Walmart for all groceries. It's a 70 peso cab ride back with a full load. The staff at the condo is friendly. The AC blows cold. The Wifi is pretty strong (spotty at times). Some people complained about no American TV. We signed into our Netflix account on the smart TV on day 4 or 5 and that gave us some veg out time. The beds are all comfortable. Both bathrooms are great. This place is well worth the cost and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. In fact, I can't imagine vacationing anywhere else. I'm a little sad to be heading home at this point but I suppose we gotta get back to work to pay for the next trip, A couple of additional notes: 1) with our 7 year old we would probably get a ground floor room next time to walk out to the pool. 2) other than using the gas grill and a couple of times with the kids in the hammock we didn't use the penthouse deck that was so important to me. 3) there are several unrelated families here who seem to know each other from previous trips and I really like that. The 7 year old found another little girl to play with and, as that is one of our biggest challenges on vacation where adults want to just relax and she wants attention, that had been great.

Playa was it it's best in this 3 bedroom condo with rooftop patio and views!

My 50th Birthday was a success and staying at Luna Encantada made it even better! Our week was spent at the beach, pool and on the rooftop deck! It was also wonderful to be able to get a $20 daily one hour massage right next door. Our family loved this high end condo right on the ocean and we will come again and again. I would recommend this place to everybody!
