It was so close to the beach and it had parking for all the families meeting here for our vacation. Inside the home; having all the bedrooms and bathrooms was wonderful. We had 15 people (all adults) and it was easily adequate. The kitchen had 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves - and plenty of space to move around. And, everyone loves all the decks off the rooms where they could hang out or pop out for a private phone call. And - loved the elevator to assist all the stairs when bringing in luggage and food. Terrific stay !

Beautiful home in a beautiful place!

Great stay for everyone! The house was big enough to accommodate our family, and had amenities that suited all our needs. We came in rather late and in the dark, but the clear instructions provided ahead of time made getting in and settled VERY easy. My father, who has trouble with stairs, was happy to find the elevator was reliable and easy to use. Finally, the easy access to the beach made our ocean-loving crew happy! Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!

Ft Morgan beach house

Great place. Plenty of room. Kitchen space excellent. Many decks for views. Elevator made unloading easy. Lots of windows. Great area to bike around. Comfortable beds. Walk to beach was easy but a little further than I’d like when hauling so much.

This house is great but we thought it was odd to only have one dishtowel, pillows without pillow cases and no way to clean the floor. The kitchen is double loaded on amenities but one dishtowel.

However a few things could be better, floor was not mopped and very dirty, some sheets didn't fit the beds, towels could be updated they were roughand discolored. There were about 4 drilling ships visible from the beach but that didn’t make the stay any less wonderful. We’ve already rebooked for next year. I will say that the location is about 25 minutes away from other shopping areas but there is a great little grocery story about 10 minutes away. I love this home!!

2nd stay

I must say I love the "bones" of this house and its location. That's the reason I rebooked it after staying here previously. The number of bedrooms, the layout of the house, the closeness to the beach are all A+ but I was very disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the house - both inside and out as well as a lot of outdoor furniture. The floors had not been cleaned- swept maybe but absolutely not mopped. A travel bag with personal items was found under a dresser in a bedroom - that did not belong to any of our group. . Pills were found on a bedroom floor upstairs. Screens over a window were ripped halfway off. The stairs leading to the entrance was just dirty and lots of spider webs in the entry stairway. The wooden furniture on the decks outside needs to be replaced, plain and simple. It's in bad shape. The hammock outside ripped when someone tried to sit on it. The picnic table and wooden furniture were faded and splintering as well as the decks. (The fabric appeared to be rotten from the weather .) One of the couches in the den needs replacing. It is sunken in terribly. I'm sure it was okay at one time but it is well past needing replacing. The chair in the den has food stains on it. We fought mosquitoes at and around and in the house our entire stay. (I am talking a 6 year old that got a dozen bites! . When I contacted the number I was given, I was told they couldn't do anything about it. Really?!!! Way too many issues for the amount of money That we paid.

Reviewer Comments: The house has great views and is an easy walk to the beach; we did get a golf cart to make the trips to the pool a bit quicker but it is a walkable distance.We were concerned about being so far from Gulf Shores but had no issues with the location. We enjoyed the quiet Ft. Morgan area; we all liked the food at Tacky Jack’s and Sassy Bass; and it is an easy drive to/from Gulf Shores. The house was very clean upon arrival. Like most vacation rentals, a deep clean never hurts, but all the important “daily” stuff: counters, appliances, bathrooms, linens, and floors were in great shape. Management was great to work with – professional, helpful, prompt!The kitchen had plenty of glasses (plastic, ugh), plates, and silverware to serve a large group but only had a few well-used pans or skillets. The crisper pizza pans were a welcomed find. We were a group of 3 families: 4 adults, 3 kids (9-13 years of age), and 2 dogs. We had more than enough space but found the living room seating a bit limited (3 couches that seat a total of 9). There is also a small sitting area off the kitchen (couch, tv, and chair). All TVs were connected to DirecTV but didn’t seem to receive the same channels. Personal preference, the beds are awfully tall. I’m 5’2”, the beds on the 4th floor were impossible for me to get into. The beds on the 2nd floor are a bit lower. Notes for those with physical limitations: --The ensuite of the 2nd floor King bedroom has handrails at the toilet and a no-step shower. Not sure the ease/difficulty of getting a wheelchair into the bathroom.--The elevator is helpful for groceries, luggage, and those with physical limitations. Be aware there is a step to get in/out of the elevator at the 1st floor/carport. Also, in order to enter/lock the house upon leaving you will need someone that can manage the stairs to the 2nd floor entry as a key was not provided for the elevator.

Perfect house for our family Thanksgiving

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for 18 of our family members to come together for Thanksgiving. The place was perfectly appointed with everything we needed and so comfortable. Wonderful views with so many balconies and the kitchen with two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two microwaves, and a double oven was perfect for all the holiday cooking! Sweet memories made in this house!
