About this property
The Farmhouse At Spring Farm
The Farmhouse is one of THREE homes at Spring Farm - If you are needing more sleeping space, we recommend renting them all together - Hollyhock House and Stone Cottage. For WEDDINGS, WORKSHOPS or LARGE GROUPS please find our website for more information. No RV's, campers or tents allowed on the property or on the street.
Come be rejuvenated by the peace & beauty of the Farmhouse at Spring Farm – our one acre plot in the heart of historic Spring City, Utah. With four bedrooms and three full baths, the home comfortably accommodates 13 people. It was recently built to today's highest standards but in the historic style of the pioneer homes of the area, offering the best of both worlds. Named one of “America’s Prettiest Towns” by Forbes Magazine in 2010, Spring City and the surrounding area have so much to offer! Our family Farmhouse has been the center of many family gatherings and wonderful memories, and we're confident you'll fall in love with it too.
The space - Sleeping 13 max
The main floor bedroom has one double bed (sleeping 2); the Yellow Room has one queen bed (sleeping 2); the Red Room has one double, one single and a built in bunk (sleeping 6); and the Blue Room has one queen and one single bed (sleeping 3) . The farmhouse lives large, but is cozy enough to make smaller groups enjoy the space just as much. Crisp white linens and towels and basic necessities are provided. You will enjoy the large fully-stocked kitchen with spacious counters, a family-sized eating area with double doors that swing open to the living room, and doors that access the farmhouse porch. The views from there stretch across the large grass area, the treehouse, the Barn and outbuildings and onto the snowcapped peaks of Horseshoe Mountain.
There is a simple beauty to enjoy at the farm. There is a natural spring (which runs intermittently) meandering through the length of the property. Take a long walk or bike ride along the quiet streets of Spring City. You will likely see deer, sheep, chickens, geese, llamas or any other of Spring City’s many animal residents. Or best of all, just curl up with a good book on the side porch.
Rural Spring City is located in scenic Sanpete County, and lies in the shadow of Horseshoe Mountain. Sanpete County is renown for it’s wealth of Pioneer Historic homes, and Spring City is it’s gem. The entire town is listed on the National Historic Register, and in 2010 Forbes Magazine named it one of “America’s Prettiest Towns”. Slow down and enjoy Spring City’s unhurried pace – the town has no traffic lights, a renown Café, a lovely Sweet Shop and many art galleries and studios. Having been discovered by artists years ago, it has grown into a vibrant Arts Community that attracts visitors from far and wide. The main Gallery is housed in the restored “Strates Garage”, a turn-of-the-century auto showroom that now displays the work of the local artists. Whether you come for the Historic Architecture, the quiet rural pace, or the Art Events & Festivals – Spring City is sure to rejuvenate the soul.

The neighborhood
Any time of year, a short twenty minute drive takes you to Manti, home of the LDS Manti Temple and the Manti Pageant, or to the award winning Palisades Golf Course and Lake. Also within a 10 minute drive is Ephraim (Snow College), or Mount Pleasant which enjoys an old time Drive-In Movie Theater, various shops and restaurants.
The nearby mountains offer a variety of opportunities for hiking, biking, rock climbing in Maple Canyon, fishing, canoeing, cross-country skiing, ATVing, and snowmobiling (rentals available nearby). Yuba Lake is a fifty minute drive for boating, water skiing, windsurfing and other water sports. For more information on Sanpete County festivals and recreational opportunities, visit their website.
Other things to note
Fall and winter are lovely times at the farm. The fall colors in the nearby Manti La Sal National Forest are breathtaking, and Skyline Drive makes for a lovely way to enjoy the autumn colors. When the snow flies there is a peaceful serenity around town, and it is hard to beat the tranquility of being on cross-country skis, snowshoes, or even a snowmobile in designated areas of the national forest. Snowmobile rentals and tours are available nearby.

About the host
Hosted by owner/property manager
We are 3 sisters who were looking for ways to create experiences that brought them and their young families together. We had a dream of creating a rural gathering place, a place where they could let the kids run wild, cook meals together, and have endless talks out on the back porch.
Slowly that dream has become a reality. We fell in love with the community of Spring City, and we built a timber frame barn and a pioneer "replica" home (The Farmhouse) on a one acre plot. Later we added two other adjacent homes.
What started out as a way to spend time together, has become a fun family endeavor. We have loved creating this magical place - where we gather with our husbands and our kids, we build and restore, and we are reminded of what is truly important.
Our time at Spring Farm has been filled with much joy and we can't wait for you to have the opportunity to create your own memories and experiences here too. We look forward to your visit.
