We had a fabulous stay in this lodge, perfect private location by the river, very peaceful, yet just a short stroll into Lynton (uphill). All the staff are warm , welcoming and friendly and the hot tub after a days walking just hits the spot. plenty of walks and places to explore.
Property was lovely, but wish we had of booked property with owners as we would of saved alot of money when the company called Verbo charged £1070 something pounds which seemed alot of money when owners were charging alot less including a offer will never use company again and want be recommend anyone to use, tried phoning company can't speak to anyone.
The location of the property is perfect for a romantic tranquil getaway. It is conveniently located for a lovely walk into Lynton, though it is hilly. It is a completely private property, the evenings can be spent just listening to the river, birdsong or relaxing in the hot tub star gazing.
The lodge is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. The towels and bedding of high quality too. Just one thing we would be happy to change - the mattress, we both thought it was time for an upgrade. Aside from this, we are considering rebooking for next year, we will check on the mattress status first though, we truly loved the area so much.
The most amazing bit about our stay was the location - being able to see the river from the bedroom, the sofa and the kitchen was amazing. Sitting in the hot tub under the trees and listening to the river was fabulous!
