The coastal village of Burnham-on-Sea is only 9 miles away, with its long sandy beaches and a great promenade to explore with plenty to do. Bath can be reached by car in around an hour, with its infamous abbey and Roman baths. Alternatively, Bristol can be reached within the same amount of time, and offers great shopping and plenty of attractions to visit, such as its cathedral or the zoo.
