The cabin was easy to find. Very clean and large! WiFi was nice to have. We were bummed that the Holland Lake Lodge was not open as it says in the ad. We would have liked to visit it for dinner and rental of paddle boards and kayaks. The beach was neat. If you need to have phone and internet this is probably north best area. But it was kind of nice to unplug for a while.
My partner and I have been staying here for the last 5 years at least once a year, so many good memories! We're from Helena and always make a point to come at least annually. The view and cabin are both so beautiful, we even eloped here in 2020. THANKS SO MUCH!!

How lovely. Thank you so much for returning. Happy to have others enjoy this beautiful part of Montana.
We stayed for a bachelor party and it was exactly what we needed. Beautiful cabin that is very well taken care of and well stocked. Definitely would stay again
Very nice cabin in the Swan Valley. Loved being away and having immediate access to lots of great outdoor activities nearby. Cabin was very nice with a wood stove to really add to the cabin feel. Lovely pond on the property as well with great Mountain View’s.
This was my second year staying at this cabin for a snowmobile trip in Seeley Lake. We absolutely loved coming back to the cabin after a long day of snowmobiling to cook dinner and watch one of the many movies on the book shelf in the cabin. There’s a stunning view right out the back window that you could sit and look at for hours! I highly recommend staying at this cabin with family or friends!!
We loved the cabin! Loved that the home had all the conveniences of home. Our favorite part was getting up early and watching the deer while enjoying a cup of coffee. There was lots of room for us all to hang out and play board games. Thanks for having us!

Hi Susan, your review was cut off so I’m not sure of what the issue is that caused a negative review. I didn’t hear from you about any problems once you’d arrived and I’d answered all of your questions leading up to your stay. Please let me know what issues you had so we can address.
Thank you.
We will be back. The home is very cozy and comfortable. Plenty of towels and blankets, well stocked, great location. Everyone in my party said their bed could have use a mattress topper, but that was the only negative feedback. The view from the back porch is incredible. The visiting kids loved exploring near the pond and even found a treehouse.

Perfect getaway for our extended family with kids
We stayed at this property in August. My husband and two young boys and my sister and her family, also with two young boys. The kids had a wonderful time exploring the property and love the private little (rugged) trail down to the river. We saw lots of deer, birds and signs of other wildlife. The views of the mountains are some of the best we've seen in the state. So pretty from the back deck. We didn't light a campfire because the forest fire danger was so high. Took a hike up to the lower falls at Holland Lake lodge. It's about 1.5 miles and good for kids and adults. Beautiful scenery. We hope to come back.

July 2024 trip
We had a fun time. There was a big event at a family members’ cabin nearby so the location was good.
I am not a complainer but do feel it’s important for you to know how all three of us felt. It’s a great place but definitely needs upgrades. The grounds are beautiful. Couldn’t use fire pit due to icky weather. The basement was fun for 3 teens that spent one night and enjoyed “BUCK”
The tv was really bad the whole time.
The vacuum cleaners were very dirty, we were afraid to use thinking they would just blow dirt around, so couldn’t vacuum up the droppings. 😗
We were surprised that we didn’t hear from anyone, eg caretaker…. for any needs, questions we might have.
The telephone service was really bad, but I guess that’s us and our carrier?
Beds were fine. Loved the ‘woodsy’ blankets.
One major concern was the loose post on the front porch! An accident waiting to happen, especially for older people.
We were impressed with how you had everything covered re: kitchen, laundry etc. great in the supplies area!
Please, we don’t mean to sound ungratefu!!
We just want you to stay successful, and hope this input will be helpful. We would definitely consider it again should we have a need, and I’m sure there can be small improvements made.
Thank you for everything Lyndsay 😙
Oh, btw…… someone said that the original owner was a Frank Jette from Condon. Would you by chance know if that’s true? We have known the family for years. That would be something.
Again, thank you

Thank you for letting us know about the loose post, will certainly check on that. Sorry you didn’t have great weather while you were there.
You are correct that there is little to no cell service in the area. While in the cabin you can use wifi calling and the landline, but once you go outside, service is limited.
With the TV, we don’t have cable service, but there are hundreds of DVDs to watch and a Roku to sign into streaming platforms.
As far as the no response, I did communicate while you were there to answer your questions about the wifi, TV, etc. I’m sorry you felt that you didn’t get what you needed from us.
This place was amazing. The cabin and decor made it very The view from the back deck was just as gorgeous as the photos in the ad. I highly suggest exploring some of the side roads, we saw some beautiful sights. The neighbor does have two big dogs that come over and pretend to be tough, but they are not. lol Would stay here again in a hart beat!
We had an amazing stay at Chucks place with time spent exploring Glacier, Holland Falls, zip lining and white water rafting. The cabin was perfect for the kids in the basement and supplied with everything you need. We especially enjoyed our evenings and early mornings on the back deck watching the wildlife and sunrise and sunset.

About the host
Hosted by Lyndsey
This cabin is owned by my brother, sister and I. We are fifth generation Montanans and and spent our childhoods in the Swan Valley, hiking and boating at Salmon, Seeley, Flathead and Holland Lake, picking huckleberries, fishing and hiking in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
We live in Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley. The views from the cabin are breathtaking and there are beautiful hikes and trails to be found just minutes away.
Why they chose this property
This property, ideally situated between two majestic mountain ranges and just a short drive to Holland Lake was love at first sight for us. We had looked for awhile and knew immediately when we saw this cabin that it was the one for us. We have young boys who love exploring the woods and marshland around the property, watching the deer and elk come through and sitting around the campfire at night.
