We had the most perfect stay at the Cottage, felt like home from home. It had absolutely everything required and the Co Op did well out of us. Extremely convenient being a stones throw away from the Cottage. Slept very well in a very comfortable bed. Absolutely loved it. Thank You

Great location & quirky layout / cosy accommodation. Could do with a few extra mugs, a physical welcome pack (for non internet savvy guests) and higher quality bedding. Village has decent pubs, amenities and local walking opportunities. Overall we had an enjoyable stay & would consider using 'Taylor Holiday Lets' again :-)

Good location for exploring around Hope Valley

Quiet location but easy walking/cycling distance to beautiful countryside. House was comfortable (including the beds) and had the basics that you like for a stay.

Immaculate cottage, great location

We really enjoyed our stay - the cottage was immaculate and cosy. Great food at the Shoulder of Mutton round the corner and lots of walks both from the door and at nearby Ladybower Reservoir

Excellent base for Peak District

Bradwell is a great location for visiting the Peak District: it's close to many of the popular hikes, but it doesn't feel overrun with other tourists. The house was very well set up and comfortable.

We chose this area because Bradwell sits right at the heart of the Peak District and offers the perfect balance of village life and open countryside. The setting by the river gives the village a peaceful feel, while the surrounding hills, trails and landscapes make it ideal for walking and exploring straight from the doorstep.

We used to live in the village ourselves, so we know first hand how charming Bradwell is and how friendly and welcoming the local community feels. What we enjoy most is how easy it is to slow down here. Days can be spent wandering the village, heading out on long walks, or enjoying a pub lunch before returning to the cottage to relax by the river. It is a place that feels authentic and lived in, and one we love sharing with our guests.

What makes this property unique is its riverside position right in the centre of Bradwell, combined with the comfort and character of a traditional Peak District cottage. Being able to step outside and enjoy the sound of the river, while still having village shops, pubs and bakeries just a short walk away, is something you rarely find.

Inside, the cottage has been thoughtfully renovated to feel cosy and welcoming, with a log burner, comfortable living spaces and little touches like board games and walking books that encourage guests to relax and enjoy their time together. Having lived in the village ourselves, we have set the cottage up as a true home from home, making it a place where guests can settle in easily and enjoy both village life and countryside walks from the doorstep.
