We loved our stay at Rowan Tree cottage. Jane is clearly a very experienced host. She has thought of everything you could possibly need. She also provided us with the most generous welcome basket we’ve ever had. We especially loved the yummy home-made cake! The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. The location was perfect and we enjoyed walks from the door and short drives to nearby places of interest. Couldn’t have asked for better and fully recommend.
There is not much more than I can say…..PERFECT. You have everything you need at the cottage….Jane has thought of everything from oven gloves to home made cake. It’s spotless, it’s comfortable, it’s beautiful, it’s well equipped, the location is perfect in a quiet village close to a lovely pub. Communication with Jane is excellent and pet friendly for our well behaved Dachshund As I said……Perfect!!!!
Great Cottage, very clean and a reasonable size in a great location.would thoroughly recommend a stay at this lovely place. The host Jane is very helpful with the information provided and a courtesy call to make sure you arrived ok.Jane provided milk, tea coffee, biscuits, prosecco and much more as a welcome pack.Jane had supplied a lovely baked cake which was a very nice thing to do.
Jane obviously takes a lot of thought and pride in her property. Coms were perfect. Property was spotless and I cant really think in anyway to improve the cottage. Thanks for letting us stay 100% perfect.
Cottage was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The attention to detail was great, we wanted for nothing. Welcome pack and cake much appreciated. Thank you for your kind words. Would welcome you back any time.
Beautiful cottage in a quaint area.Exceptionally well maintained & our host Jane prepared for our arrival with refreshments & a delicious cake. There are many dog walking paths which we unfortunately didn’t have time to do. The Waterloo pub offers a very good tasty menu and it’s a few minutes walk!We would definitely go back fuel permitting? Thank you Jane & Richard we hope to enjoy your splendid cottage once more
Beautiful cosy cottage, lovely views, excellent location. The cottage had everything we needed, the welcome pack and cake is a lovely touch. We will definitely stay again
Quiet, peaceful location, cottage had everything we needed for a week away.
The cottage was exceptionally clean, spacious and in a very quiet, peaceful location.
Cottage was big enough for 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs for the week.
We all had a lovely time.
We had a great stay in this part of the Peak District with plenty of walks and places to visit nearby. The house was very clean and had everything needed to self cater. The arrival pack including home made cake was a bonus. Can't recommend this house enough
We loved our stay. The cottage was beautiful and so many lovely little extras. Great communication with the owners. The cottage was in an amazing location. Our kids, and dogs, loved every second. We can’t wait to go back.
The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and in a perfect location to explore the Peak District. Our host Jane had thought of everything including a welcome pack which included a lovely homemade cake, bottle of Prosecco, crisps, milk and biscuits. I would definitely love to stay here again.
