What a fabulous property! Beautiful surroundings, spotless interior, and very comfortable accommodations for all five of us staying there as a family. The home is filled with amazing Beatles memorabilia, which really added to the uniqueness of this home. Paul-Marc is a tremendous host. We really enjoyed meeting him and truly appreciated him spending time explaining how everything works. We highly recommend this lovely home and wouldn't hesitate to book it again for a future stay.

Our Road Trip To Canada

The roundhouse was the perfect place for us to stay as we took day trips around Canada. It was a quiet oasis where the kids enjoyed time in the pool and practicing piano.

From the groundhog to the backwoods trails, this place is filled with wonder. Tons to explore on the property and loads of discussion pieces inside. Thank you Paul Marc for creating such a unique and comfortable getaway.

Beautiful wildflowers, saw bunnies and groundhog, great to walk around the property: serene - no traffic! Nice pool, place for campfire. It exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful property .Very relaxing stay.

Stayed for 4 days Paul Marc,the host was so friendly and easy to talk to. He met us at checkin and gave us a comprehensive tour of the house and grounds.We very much enjoyed how peacful and quiet the property was.The pool was awesome and we used it every day.The house was well equiped and very much as pictured.Loved it!We would definately stay here again.

Awesome house and property; will be back!

Awesome and very interesting house. Nice quiet location, lots of land to explore even in the winter, fire place and jacuzzi tub were great and bed was comfortable. Paul Marc was very accommodating and responsive. We’ll probably book again and recommend to others.

Gorgeous property. Loved the gardens and pool, and the house was a cool homage to music and more. We also were able to check out the lovely Merrickville as well as make the drive to Ottawa and old town Montreal. The Deifenbunker museum was very interesting and the fine arts museum in Ottawa had some terrific stuff. Paul-Marc was very friendly and accommodating. It was a relaxing oasis and gave us some much needed down time. Thank you!

Amazing Accommodation

What an incredible place! Beautiful eclectic decor, friendly hosts, perfect location, and all of the amenities a family could need. Master bedroom with ensuite and soaker tub, second bathroom, laundry facilities, separate bunkie area, fire pit, clean pool, great trails on the expansive property, screened-in gazebo, WiFi, connected TV, piano and guitars, full kitchen, and more. We immediately felt relaxed and “at home, away from home”. We had a wonderful time here connecting and getting away from it all, and we hope to return soon!

Magical

The Roundhouse was even more amazing in person! Paul Marc is a gracious host who met us upon arrival to show us around. They had everything we could have needed and more! The property and house is well maintained, very clean, and creatively decorated. We cannot wait to return and have warm enough weather to also enjoy the pool! Thank you for a wonderful long weekend!

This was an amazing place to stay. Filled with music memorabilia and Indigenous art. We learned something new about both at every turn. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could possibly want. Amazing porch to sit on to enjoy the sun and rain. Wonderful screened in gazebo to enjoy meals without bugs. Staying there reminded me that music isn’t just something we play — it’s something we live with. I came home feeling totally recharged and so thankful for the musical journeys I get to share with my students each week. We hope to return next year.

Amazing and one of a kind home

We had an amazing experience staying in Paul Marc's home. Very clean, peaceful and truly a paradise home. This home is full of memorabilia, everyday we would discover something new to enjoy at or learn from. Paul's recommendation to try Iron Forge pizza and their citrus herb chicken wings is a must try. Recommend eating this delicious dinner in the Cantina Mexico to truly enjoy your evening! We also loved sitting outside watching the sunrise while enjoying a cup of coffee and a croissant, and also got visited with all kinds of birds. We can't thank you enough for giving us this opportunity, and we would love to come back again! Paul Marc is truly a SUPERHOST!!

Absolutely Fantastic!

Paul Marc was a gracious host and his home was simply the best. Everything came as advertised. The attention to detail was second to none. As a music lover, I was impressed by the sound system and the acoustics in the roundhouse. Paul Marc has it dialed in fabulously and the local radio station had my partner and I dancing and singing along all weekend long. The trails on the property were so cool. Merrickville was such a sweet small town where all the people say hello and genuinely care for one another. Jenn and I could not have had a better time, thank you so much Paul Marc!!! Wonderful and relaxing holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at the roundhouse. The property was exactly as presented in the listing. The house contained everything we could need except for food and drink Paul-Marc took his time to show us around the property and tell us the history of the house, which was very interesting. He was available in case of any emergency, which was very reassuring. The property is beautiful, quiet and private. We enjoyed all aspects, from walking in the bush and collecting firewood, to relaxing by the pool and on the porch. We enjoyed eating in Casa Mexicana... outdoor dining with no bugs! We had fun building a campfire and roasting marshmallows. The indoor atmosphere was fun and eclectic. It was comfortable and relaxing. We felt safe at night. The town is so nice! We enjoyed an afternoon walking around and having a drink on a patio. We also watch the locks in action, allowing the passage of boats. We had fun fishing in the area and caught some sunfish and pumpkinseed. All in all, it was a wonderful little vacation and we hope to return! Thank you Paul-Marc 🙂

Paul-Marc is a fabulous host. He is very passionate about the oasis he cultivates, treasures and protects. Nature is abundant and the trails he has made on his property are a must to explore. The lodging is one of a kind. The kitchen has every tool (good quality) and spice you could ever need. Once, creating in the kitchen, choose from a vast array of music options to set the mood. In the morning, sit on the porch and watch the nature and listen to their songs. He has the most beautiful chimes that sound like singing bowls. This is a place of peace and tranquility. There is an amazing deck around the pool where fun and games can be had in the comfy surroundings. The night light is around the property is very cozy and calming. A short trip into Merrickville is a must. It is filled with artisan shops, bakeries and good eats of your choice. If you are staying near Perth, Smith Falls etc...this is the place set down your bags down and take in all that Paul-Marc has to offer. Paul-Marc will go the extra mile to ensure you are well taken care of...such as finding my glasses I left despite 4 people trying to find them over several days before leaving. To top that, he dropped them off at my sisters. Need I say more. This is an abode not to be missed. There is something for everyone and more.

Peaceful Creative Oasis

I stayed here with some friends; we are musicians and had concerts in the area. The roundhouse was so lovely and peaceful. The morning walks are lovely and the little cabana is great to hang out in. It is obvious that Paul-Marc has taken the time to care for both the inside and outside of the home. I loooooved this house and will definitely book again if I travel to eastern Ontario in the future.
