il bel laghetto (12, we were a family of 12 and used both apartments) was a wonderful place to stay. it is a great villa, very clean and secure; there is a gorgeous, well-maintained pool in the yard; and the hosts are wonderful and very helpful. The villa is near castiglion fiorentino (by car, 15 minutes) where there is a train station with parking and access to all of Italy. It's located on a farm--there are roosters crowing in the morning and there is a lot of open space surrounding, with fields of sunflowers and grapevines. We would love to visit again!
