The perfect getaway at the beautiful Black Diamond Condo in Brian Head. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views and easy ski-in with a short walk to ski-out from your front door. This luxury family-friendly townhouse is 2 story, 1900 sq. ft. The townhouse has 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths upstairs and an additional 1/2 bath on the first level with a large kitchen including bar stool eating area, dining room and family room. Private one car garage with direct entrance and plenty of space to store your skis, snowboards, and boots when taking a lunch break and for the next day. Sleeps 9 adults/children comfortably with room to spread out. Retreat to a Master bedroom with king size bed, Jacuzzi Tub, flat screen TV and private balcony overlooking Brian Head mountains, lake and Navajo ski runs. Bedroom #2- has a queen bed and flat screen tv. Bedroom #3- has a queen bed, and flat screen tv. Loft has bunk beds, bottom bunk full bed and top bunk twin bed and flat screen TV. Fully furnished with linens, towels, extra blankets and washer/dryer upstairs. Large downstairs family room with room-heating gas fireplace and balcony. Loft area allows for separate areas so the adults and kids can have their own spaces to relax. Plenty of games, movies and a Wii for your entertainment. Wifi and cable ready as well.
Brian Head is a popular location for winter sports. The resort gets around 350 inches of snowfall annually. Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowmobiling, tubing. There are numerous locations for equipment rental and they are all very near the townhome. You’ll never have to go far to get whatever your heart desires. With good snow skiing back to the condo is almost always easy for all levels and it is a short walk in two directions to access both Giant Steps lifts or Chair 8.
When there’s no snow, Brian Head is known for mountain biking, ATV riding, hiking and fishing. The mountains are loaded with trails, and there are several cycling events during the warmer months. The ski lifts continue service during the warmer months to carry riders and their bikes to the top of the mountain for the down-hill bike trails. Summer and Fall are also excellent times to take advantage of the nearby monuments and national parks. Cedar Breaks National Monument is only a 25 minute drive, where photography is unmatched, (not to mention excellent hiking). The beautiful Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks are each about 1 ½ hours away by car.
The Black Diamond townhomes are one of the newer complexes in Brian Head. Granite counters, comfortable beds and great views this townhouse offers you all the comforts of home with a great location. After years of renting many different homes in Brian Head, we bought here because we loved all that it has to offer and felt like this complex was the best we had ever visited. You will love not hiking stairs to enter the unit at 10,000 feet but instead will walk straight into the living area with bedrooms one flight up. We know that you will love it as much as we do. This is the second time we have stayed in this rental and it was just as amazing as our first stay. It is the perfect size for two families. The kitchen is well-stocked, it is steps away from the runs, the living space is comfortable, and it has a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

The house was immaculate and had everything you could hope to use. It had the best-stocked and most organized kitchen you could imagine. They even had sleds, with a nearby sledding hill, in addition to easy access to the slopes. It was a very cozy home. The hosts were very responsive and answered all our questions.

We loved this condo. It was in a great location. Easy to ski in and not too many steps away to ski out. Well stocked with everything you could possibly want and the perfect size for two families of four. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. It was also nice to have access to the garage.

First, the location was very agreeable, short walk to a less busy slope and lift, easy to ski into when we were finished as well. Roomy, comfortable and accommodating space for 9 of us. Owners were easy to communicate with as well, very flexible, allowed us to come in very early for a snowshoeing appt. Overall, a great experience.

THE MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK

Spacious, extremely clean, comfortable conveniently located home. This is our 3rd year in a row renting this property. We love to cook most all of our meals while on vacation and this kitchen is well equipped with many extras. We travel with 6+ people and having the condo approximately 100 yards away from skiing is quite convenient when our vehicle is being occupied. All beds are super comfortable and the 3 full bathrooms are just a bonus. We will be staying here again and again.

Great Getaway

We shared this condo with my family (2 adults + 2 teens) and my brother and his family (2 adults + 3 teens). The unit worked great for all of us! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. It was so nice to have 3 1/2 bathrooms. The living room furniture was comfortable, and the dining room fit all of us as well. We had a great week!

The condo was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. It was the first rental property I ever stayed in where the knives were all very sharp! It was very easy to get to the mountain for skiing. We loved the big living room with lots of comfortable seating and enjoyed the gas fireplace. My only complaint would be that the bed listed as a “king” was really a queen on a king sized bed frame. Also, any movement of sleep partner turned it into a trampoline. Other family members also mentioned beds not being very comfortable.

My husband and I, our 3 adult daughters and their 2 spouses had an excellent time spending over a week here at Christmas. The condo is clean, roomy, plenty of seating, and had everything we needed (the kitchen is stocked extremely well). Mike, the host, was super communicative with us from when we booked through after we checked out, answering questions, letting us know about condo specifics and the area, checking to make sure we had everything we needed, etc. The location is fantastic and while it's ski in/ski out...just a note that you'll need good snow, and if you're skiing back to the condo it would be from the intermediate to more advanced runs.We ended up driving down to the Navajo runs (beginner/intermediate area) which was a mile down the road, but we walked over to the Giant Steps Lodge/main lift area many times to grab a snack at the lodge or get some food at "The Mall" just past the main lodge. The only thing I would not recommend is the ice skating at the end of the mall. To be fair, we visited earlyish in the season, but the condition of the ice was not good, with lots of divits and holes (people were falling all over the place). And the response to our concerns with the ice and a major fall one of our daughters took was pretty lax.That all aside, we had such a great visit - it really felt like we were home. Thanks Mike and family!
