Cozy house in a small walled farm with orchard and vineyard able to accommodate between four (4) to six (6) adults.

It is located in Serra da Estrela Natural Park, 12 km from Guarda city and at the intersection of several tourist routes.
At 600 meters is the river beach of Aldeia Viçosa, on the Mondego River, awarded with the blue flag.
Ideal to enjoy nature among olive trees, sun, fresh air and the weather only ruled by the rattles of the flocks of sheep.

Calm and relaxingWe stayed 10days at the cottage and it was an amazing experience. The cottage has all amenities needed, was clean and well kept and if there was anything we needed Ofelia the iener brought it. Ofelia was super nice, made sure we had everything while being unobtrusive. The view in all directions is stunning and we spent many evenings outside.This cottage is highly recommended to those who seek a break from a busy schedule, enjoy nature and tranquility or just need to reset.

Great accommodation!

Beautiful and unique house in beautiful area! We loved our stay in this beautiful house! The owner, Ofélia, was very friendly and great to communicate with through the VRBO app. Everything you need was available in the house. Lots to do and see in the area. Loved our stay!

Scenic but cold

The views from the property are lovely. It is quite rustic and the heating was not enough. It would have been good to have the heating on a timer. The beds were very cosy but the lounge furniture was not very comfortable. Definitely a summer property when you can sit out in the sunshine, unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us.

Lovely characterful property and completely private.

My husband and I rented this lovely house for just three nights in Oct and would have loved to have stayed longer. It is set amongst olive trees and vineyards and is accessed by a short rough track, away from the owner’s home. The house is well equipped and has a nice shady patio, and Ofélia was kind enough to give us some eggs from her hens and some oil made from her own olives. There are great views across the whole valley and plenty of paths for walks. Be aware though that one of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms are accessed separately- they are on a lower floor and don’t connect within the house - you would have to go outside to a different door and this was locked, not a problem for us at all as we there was only the two of us, but not mentioned in the listing. We would love to return some time to enjoy the space and tranquility.

Immersion au calme

Séjour très sympa ,excellent acceuil belles prestations dans un lieu magique où les nuits sont douces et étoilées. En campagne et proche de lieux à découvrir. Logement très sympa et bien équipé , seul le système d'eau chaude est très consommateur puisqu'il faut un certain pour l'eau soit à température.

Óptima base para descanso e passeio em redor

A casa é muito boa e a D. Ofélia fez questão de ajudar a que estivesse quentinha. A parte de baixo e de cima comunicam por escada exterior. Limpeza impecável bem como os equipamentos.

Un cadre authentique et reposant en pleine nature

Notre séjour de 2 jours chez Ofelia a été vraiment très agréable. Cadre authentique et reposant en pleine nature avec tout le confort d’une maison historique restaurée avec goût.
