Serra da Estrela is two steps away from Guarda, with all its natural beauty, the Zêzere glacier valley, Poço do Inferno, Lagoa Cumprida, Torre, Penhas da Saúde, the ski slope, Covão d ' Ametade, the sources of the Mondego and Zêzere rivers, are also unique places that you cannot miss. In summer you can cool off on the beautiful river beaches of Valhelhas and Aldeia Viçosa.
