Around the corner from the Chapel of the Holy Cross and popular trailheads, Professor's Mid-Century Modern Magic in the Vortex provides an unforgettable stay.

Our house is colorful, eclectic, and full of local, ethnic, and global arts and crafts. The house offers a living room with stone fireplace, eat-in kitchen, 2 bedrooms including master bedroom and guest bedroom with full baths, a hobby room/artist studio, an upstairs writer's studio with red rock views, washer/dryer, and private grounds with sitting areas and hammock. Enjoy this extremely peaceful and quiet spot, with flat roof and telescope for dark sky star gazing. The house offers wireless broadband internet and satellite television.

We're around the corner from the Chapel of the Holy Cross, hiking trailheads, and off-road biking trails.

Rented as a furnished vacation rental with a three-night minimum, this is a perfect locale for off road biking, red rock hiking, writing, painting, photographing, star gazing, exploring Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon, and just musing, reading, and relaxing.

The property is a delight: the upstairs deck (to view Sedona's red rocks and dark skies) and the hammock (to read in the afternoon) are two of my favorite places on the planet.
