Loved our stay.

We had a great week at this rental. Portovenere is lovely. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are many stairs to the property, pack accordingly. The renovations they've done on this property so far are really nice. The older portions of the rental reflect the price point. The furniture, kitchen appliances, and cups etc are all a bit cobbled together and could use an upgrade but that will probably come as the renovations are completed and the price is raised. The views from the 2 decks and the patio are worth the stairs. All in all, I would totally stay here again.

Incredible view, massive gardens with many areas to sit and enjoy the sun. Outdoor dining area and barbecue area were amazing, which more than makes up for the slightly less well-appointed indoor kitchen. Beautifully furnished inside, and the table tennis, hammock, and outdoor shower were wonderful additions. Excellent location in Portovenere with close access to many restaurants, foccaccierias, bars, the see, and a smallish Conad supermarket that nevertheless had all the essentials and an excellent deli counter for cured meats, cheese, marinated anchovies, pesto by weight, and many other delights. And of course, so close to the sea - in particular Byron's grotto which is a wonderful beach. A couple of issues during the stay (broken TV, hot water availability on a couple of evenings, electrics tripping) but the host and owners were very responsive and helpful so this did not end up affecting us too badly. A truly magnificent property well worth the current price point even with the noted imperfections.

Great house with fantastic view

Amazing view over the city and the ocean. Very private and with its own spacious garden. You have to be a bit fit as there are a lot of stairs to climb. Better pack light, also as parking is an issue.

Sospesi sulla Bellezza

Casa tipicamente antica Liguria, ardesie a marmi ovunque, tenuta molto bene. Letto molto comodo, camere volendo sempre ventilate. Bello davvero
