This is the second time we have stayed at Gianluca’s and it was lovely once again. The apartment has everything you could want, it was spotlessly clean, well equipped, spacious and has superb views of the Lerici harbour from the living room and all the garden terraces. The apartment is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens set on different levels and with beautiful views all around. The apartment has lots of design points of beauty; hand painted antique floor tiles, paintings and artefacts from around the world. Gianluca and his family are wonderful hosts. They are welcoming and work so hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. Gianluca is also an excellent chef and will prepare you a three or four course meal using local produce at a cost that is not much different to local restaurants and yet you have a chef preparing a bespoke menu and a private dining area so you can eat and drink good wine overlooking the wonderful views as the sun sets. There is a free bus that stops very near the apartment to take you to Lerici (it runs mornings and after 4pm). This is very handy if you don’t want to walk back up to the apartment from Lerici after lunch. You can also walk to San Terenzo which takes about 30 minutes and then you can walk the bay of poets back to Lerici harbour. We really love this place and will return as there is so much to do and see but mostly because we love the apartment, the garden and we think the hosts are excellent.

A characterful property, perfectly situated on the seafront in beautiful location.

Beautiful house, full of delightful architectural details and features. Loved the many places to sit and enjoy the views and vistas. On the day of check in communication was efficient as was the process of orientation to the house. We have booked to return.

We rented this beautiful house for a fortnight. It is really a lovely property, with a great view, five minutes from Lerici port side, and close to the Cinque Terre, with everything you could wish for, including a fabulous infinity swimming pool and access to the sea via a private gate. The house is well furnished with all amenities and is extremely comfortable - we particularly enjoyed the lovely terrace where we could eat all our meals. The hosts were charming and helpful and I would wholly recommend a stay here!

This property has an incredible location. With it’s amazing views and the sound of the waves it is impossible to not relax here. Because of it’s fantastic location it does mean that there’s quite a big hill to get up to get to the house and lots of steps in the house, that would make it difficult for smaller children or those with accessibility issues. The air conditioning was a life saver in the summer sun. Definitely a lovely place to watch some beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine!

We had a wonderful holiday in Portovenere. We were guests of Roberta who welcomed us on arrival and was so very helpful assisting us with information and arrangements before and during our stay. Her villa is beautiful, with a magnificent view of the sea. The accommodation was excellent, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, a comfortable living room, a well supplied kitchen and a huge table where we were all able to dine together. Roberta explained everything we needed to know about the villa, how to work appliances,to operate lights and manage our stay. The villa has everything you need, towels, toiletries, books, games, music, tv and all the cleaning materials you need for the dishwasher ,washing machine etc. Roberta kindly did some shopping for us so we had some provisions on arrival and also went to fetch us some takeaway food for our first meal . It is a very comfortable home and Roberta kept in touch during the week to make sure all was ok. The garden and terraces are a great outside space where we could relax,have lunch and enjoy the view. Roberta also explained that the supermarket and bus stop were close by, and very kindly helped us with church times. The villa is situated in a very pretty village with choice of boat or bus and train to explore the Cinque Terre. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to enjoy a restful holiday in a beautiful region of Italy.

Good space with plenty of room for 8 people. Well equipped. You just can’t beat the views from the patio. Perfect location for exploring Cinque Terre. The second shower is interesting!
