This was the best experience we have ever had! The house was immaculately clean upon arrival, had a fully stocked kitchen with utensils, pots/pans, and dishware of all kinds. Plus the fire pit and grill were great for family time! The location is quiet, private, and in a lovely location only 10 minutes away from Wilmington and Lake Harriman. Fern and Hannah were the most accommodating and kind hostesses - communicative, responsive, and kind. We were also able to bring our dog, which was a big bonus. Made it an easy transition for our whole family. If you are looking for a lovely Summer getaway, this is the place for you! Feels just like home…

We had a wonderful time staying here! The hosts left detailed instructions on things and we felt very relaxed during our snowy stay. Our dog, Wheat Thin, also had an amazing time exploring the outdoors and loved snuggling up by the fire.

The cabin was warm and comfortable nested in a wooded private setting. It had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. And Fern was accommodating to the one minor concern we had early on which was taken care of right away. We would certainly consider this property in our future travels.
The weather was perfect for our skiing and although the temps dipped below zero on a number of occasions the cabin remained warm from both the heaters and the wood burning stove. Which had plenty of cut wood available to burn.

Very relaxed time at the rustic home. We had a girls weekend of snow shoeing and shopping and outdoor time on the coldest weekend of the year so far. The house is warm and well stocked for cooking and hanging out!Lots to do in the area and great restaurants! Hosts are great about communication too!

Nestled in nature, this place is perfect for a weekend getaway for NYC. The place is very charming and the owner, Fern was very approachable when we needed help. Highly recommend this place to stay with family or friends.

Great weekend stay

We had a great, snowy stay and were able to head to Mount Snow with easy access. Accommodations were just what we needed with 2 young kids. Would recommend to friends.

We loved our stay, nice and warm. Kitchen was great. Beds were very comfortable although a bit on the small side for queens.
