Hello Andrea, we are very pleased that you enjoyed the property and had a good time in the area, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Hope to host you again. J&F
A lovely 3 day break ! Nice & quiet, the way I like it. Very clean & tidy accommodation, took emtb & took in the sights of the nearby lake & waterfalls in brecon.
Great property, well presented and very clean. Ideally located for exploring the Brecon Beacons, and the village is lovely. The pub opposite is particularly convenient, welcoming and well-priced. The walled garden, just a short hop across the shared gravel driveway was secure and ideal for the dog. Would highly recommend.
Clean, comfortable, and charming. The property is pretty and well appointed, with easy parking and a both a fenced in main grounds and a fenced garden within, which was ideal as we travelled with our dogs. Very pet friendly. Great communication from the owners ahead of our visit, and the handy home instruction manual made operating the heating and all appliances easy. The town itself is great, from the walk down to the lake, to the pub across the street which has great food and is also very pet friendly. So many trailheads for beautiful hikes in Brecon Beacon within a short drive. We loved our time here.
Excellent booking and communication with Filippo and Jayne who allowed us to bring our two springer spaniels to stay with us. The barn is exactly as per the pictures and is so well equipped it had everything we needed. The location is excellent and we were able to visit the beacons and the beach on the Gower (where I was born). A lovely relaxing break and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you Filippo & Jayne.

Thank you Neil for your lovely review, it was a pleasure to host you all and we hope to see you again.
Excellent little barn conversion immediately opposite a pub. What's not to like? Exactly as described in the listing. Great location for walks in the Brecons
Loved the barn, really spacious and beautifully decorated. Amazing shower and kitchen facilities and beds were very comfy.
Didn't spend too much time in the little garden ~ couldn't really see/hear the stream from the garden but it may have been very low as we were there during a heatwave week.
Easy to get around the Brecons which are outstanding.

Hi Cheryl, we are very pleased that you enjoyed our barn and the area, thanks for your review. We hope to host you again. J&F
The pictures do not full do this property justice! It is much bigger than it might look with plenty of space for the pair of us and the dog.
Both bedrooms are a really good size and comfortably fit the king beds.
Upstairs is also big and airy. Getting the heating just right when cold took some getting used to, but when we read the advice in the guest book it made more sense!
Beautiful location, great facilities and just so peaceful. Brecon is a short drive away for all your supplies and the nearby lake is a 10min walk and well worth a visit.
An excellent property and we will be booking here again next time we want to stay in mid Wales.

Dear Rosemary,
Thank you for taking the time to review the property. We're sorry you didn't enjoy your time at the barn to the full. An early check-in is possible if requested, as we have explained to you. It would have been possible in your case but unfortunately you did not request one. No fee has ever to date been charged to a guest for an early check-in, but we have the right to of course if it is inconvenient.
The barn is really well-equipped with everything you need for a really good quality self-catering stay, with spares of everything in case something is not to your satisfaction. We ask our guests to communicate constructively with us if there is anything amiss throughout their stay and do our best to remedy it. This is our home and the quality of what we provide in the barn reflects that and that we do our utmost to make sure guests have a pleasant and relaxing a stay as possible. We're sorry that you haven't felt this was your experience.
Lovely walks close to the barn which are well maintained and signposted.

Thanks a lot for your review, very pleased that you enjoyed the barn and the local area!
Property was not as clean as it should have been. The main bedroom smelt very damp and clothes picked up the smell despite keeping all windows open as
Much as possible

Dear Tracey, thank you for your four-star review, we’re really pleased you obviously enjoyed the barn but sorry if things weren’t quite as you expected. If you felt that this was the case we do so wish you had bought it to our attention straight away so that we could have rectified it whilst you were there to ensure your stay was everything you wanted. We leave our personal email and telephone numbers for that reason as we do want people to contact us if anything concerns them when they arrive or at any point throughout their stay.
The barn is a unique property, centuries old stone wall building not built to modern standards and on a riverbank; occasionally with Welsh weather it can need an extra air or the use of the dehumidifier that we leave in the property for guests to use as much as they wish, especially if guests do washing and dry clothes indoors.
We’re glad anyway that you found enough positive aspects to leave a four star review for your stay.
