Kiesse Creek Lodge is located within the beautiful 5-star mountain resort of Bear Lake Reserve. Kiesse Creek Lodge has all that your family is searching for. Located on the edge of a gorgeous mountain stream, beautiful Smoky Mountain views in the distance and the performance lawn of the amphitheater in the foreground. No other vacation rental property in Bear Lake Reserve has so much to offer. Located near the staffed, gated entrance to Bear Lake Reserve allows for easy access to nearby towns of Cashiers, Highlands, Cullowhee and Sylva.
Castle Ladyhawke is located within two miles. Very poplar wedding venue. Ask about a second house available for large groups, located on same street. Perfect for Grooms and Brides family stays.
Kiesse Creek Lodge is professionally decorated in a beautiful mountain theme. Master bedroom on the first floor with large master bathroom. Two guest bedrooms upstairs with a full bathroom, overlooking into the great room with wood burning fireplace. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counter tops. When you enter this stunning home, you will know you have arrived at a mountain lodge, log railings and large stone fireplace. Immediately you feel relaxed and ready to explore all that Bear Lake Reserve Resort and the Smoky Mountains offer. Kiesse Creek Lodge most important feature is the outdoor space. Fully screened in porch with TV and fireplace furnished with high end outdoor furniture. The view from this porch has a stunning view of the Smoky Mountains. Sit on the screened porch and enjoy the sounds of Kiesse Creek flowing by and gaze at the marvel of mother nature. Step outside of the screened porch and you are on the large outdoor deck with outdoor gas grill overlooking Kiesse Creek. Plenty of outdoor seating off the deck to sit on the edge Kiesse Creek. Several waterfalls to make this creek come alive with sight and sounds.
Kiesse Creek Lodge is a perfect mountain vacation home for 6 family members. Family members having a mobility issue will have no problem as the home has no steps to enter the first floor, easy no step access from parking area. For family members who enjoy fishing, the stocked trout pond is an easy walk, no license required. Many children have caught their first fish at this catch and release pond. Easy 15-minute hike to Cedar Cliff Lake following Meadow Trail one of Bear Lake Reserve’s numerous maintained trails.
Bear Lake Reserve a mountain lake resort has all the amenities you expect in a resort community from dining to outdoor adventure or relaxing by the pool at the Lake Club. Play golf at the Jack Nicklaus designed 9-hole golf course, rental clubs available at the fully stocked pro shop. Tennis available, bring your rackets. Hike on 15 miles of well-maintained natural trails. Trail guides are available, with useful information, learn about the natural environment and history. Enjoy the uncrowded clear mountain lakes, Bear Creek Lake and Cedar Cliff Lake. Rent a pontoon boat or jet ski. Some of the best fly fishing in NC on the streams feeding into Bear Creek Lake. You can also use the resort's rental kayaks or canoes to reach the base of an 80-foot cascading waterfall, only accessible by boat.
